He didn't want to introduce himself so he left the teenager. "Red hair and green eyes?" Alex asked himself. The next thing on his to-do list was pick agricultural tools. He knew the best place to do so but one problem, the whole road was full of zombies. He would've looked around for an alternate route but his memory was hazy.
He hadn't been out in a long time. "It's decided then, I will have to draw a map at some point," he told himself. He thought a bit more and an idea came to him. Previously, in the building, the zombies wouldn't attack him. And the building he wanted to head for was right there in front of him, so he'd walk straight to it. He commenced walking through the hordes of zombies, breathing as softly as he could trying not to panic.
Upon arrival at the door of the building, he was astonished. None of the zombies attacked, it was like they barely noticed his presence. Actually, he just passed as though there was nothing there. Unknown to Alex, the teenager had been following him to thank him for saving his life. The teenager was shocked and confused. And then more than ever he wanted to make friends with Alex. 'Maybe he's using a perfume to coat his scent like in Rise of the dead, the game' he told himself.
Alex pushed the door open with a loud creek. He slowly crept around. He was confronted by the owner of the store: His skin pale and no hair on the head. Alex assessed he was a zombie. He had that urge to greet him but it wouldn't answer him.
It grunted and Alex began," Do you know where the best agricultural tools and equipment are?" Alex felt stupid and foolish speaking to a zombie. It stood there for a while before it began to walk. He followed it not knowing why but hoping it understood his question.
They finally stopped at a jungle wood door. It grunted and stared at the door. Alex felt that it was trying to say something. He registered,' Maybe the door is an obstacle. He pushed the door open and to his surprise, there was a whole bunch of agricultural tools in the room. And they seemed new as if they had arrived there a few weeks ago.
He picked the ones he suited best. He looked at it. It bowed and began walking aimlessly. He wondered what phenomenon that was. 'Maybe it was just a coincidence,' he told himself.
The teenager who had been following Alex, scaled the wall to make it past the zombies. He had also seen Alex walk between the zombies and enter the Agro store. He followed him in and spectated Alex talking to a zombie. At the end of the journey, he asked himself, 'Who is this guy?'
Alex looked around and noticed something was off. He felt like he was being stalked. "Is someone there?" he asked loudly. That felt like a stupid question. Why? Because there were zombies in the area. So of course someone was there only it was dead. Just as he was about to uncover the teenager, he heard a stampede.
He rushed to the main door and pushed it open. All the zombies were running in one direction, away from the building as if there was danger. He felt unsafe and followed them, The teenager followed him but stopped at the main door, he thought it was weird he was following the zombies.
His heart was still beating fast mostly cause Alex was about to catch him. 'That is a weird guy. He follows the zombies,' he told himself.
Alex ran until he was out of breath and stamina. He stopped and began panting. He didn't know where he was. He looked around and noticed the stampede had already disappeared although he could them in the distance. He looked around and came to a realization he was completely lost, having no idea of the place he was. It was then he heard a shriek. His senses heightened and he followed the direction where the shriek had come from.
