The noise from the conversations going around, the sound from the speakers, as well as the different promotional videos being broadcasted on the screens at the different stands masked the conversation going on at the small table where Ryan and Jenny were.
After her first question, the latter still did not go straight to the point, as she posed another one:
"Do you know how Daemon and I met?"
"On a rescue mission. That is why you made a stop at the facility of the D-Section where I met you."
Ryan's calm answer made Jenny offer a nod, before she continued:
"Daemon and his team rescued me and the only survivor of my team on a mission as a protection detail for a high-level official."
Ryan nodded:
"I know that. It was the then minister of energy. The files of that mission had been one of the less censored in the surface database of the Section."
Jenny looked at Ryan in mild exasperation:
"I can't even say that I'm surprised."
