The Interior of the house was old and ancient, the wood creaked when he stepped on it and the entire floor was filled with debris, dirt, and clothes that were everywhere in every nook and crony. The smell coming from it was not most pleasuring, but Hildebrant endured as did Cecilie whose lips began to twitch.
"I apologize for this sight, but I wasn't home for a long time and it looks like someone took full advantage of it."
Saying it she walked into the house as if nothing happened and disappeared behind the corner leaving last words behind for him to understand.
"Make yourself home, I will go prepare tea with the hope kitchen will work just fine."
Standing frozen in place Hildebrant glanced at one side and then the other and slowly walked into the house, pushing his way through the debris and sometimes stepping on dirty clothes and trash left on the floor.
He walked until he didn't notice a room with an opened door and pushing them lightly open, he gazed at the mountain of trash and papers even bigger than in the Icarus house. The clothes and trash filled the entire room with no place to move but when he was prepared to leave the mountain of trash moved and from under it man with a silver blindfold on his face and silver silk and armor on his body crawled up while holding his head.
"Oh my god! Where am I?"
He asked, his voice sounding absolutely desolate as if he truly didn't know where he found himself, but Hildebrant could not tell if what he was saying did have anything to do with the trash that was filling the house.
The man then froze and raised his gaze.
"Human, good! Young one help me."
He almost teared up when he signaled him to come closer.
Hildebrant looking at one side and then another and not seeing anyone else, he entered the room and dragged the man out from the pile of trash that burrowed him.
"Thank you, I thought I would die there."
He said and sat down while crossing his legs into a mediation position. He then began to swing up from side to side with a smile.
"You are so young I didn't expect someone like you to be here, it must be hard to be born in a sanctuary."
Hildebrant tilted his head not understanding what man meant with his words. Did he want to say it was unusual for someone of his age to survive or that not many people were born inside? Of these, it was Hildebrant who didn't know what to say but the man did even as his small body swung from side to side.
"I can see your desires; you wore a mask of kindness, but your heart is cruel and brutal. It desires to be free, but you control and hide it fearing you will become a monster, like the first human did with his insecurities. Such dedication is rare. It brings back old memories from the time when I, Darius, David, and Goliath were still together and fought side by side."
The man then chuckled and with sadness in his voice, he raised his head.
"We were so stupid at that time thinking we could do anything. If we just had one more chance, we could succeed but we let snakes behind our backs."
"What is your name sir?"
He could not take his curiosity any longer and finally asked what was on his mind from the beginning and man answer did not disappoint him just intensified his desire for more answers.
"I am Ivistar, Darius Main's brother."
Ivistar was going to say something when the pile of trash collapsed a little and revealed the limped hand of the dead person. The corpse was fresh and the smell coming from it told Hildebrant all he needed to know person no longer had any chance for life.
Opening his mouth Hildebrant wanted to believe it was just a doll or something else, but Ivistar just took the sword from his belt and pushed his hand into a pile of trash without change in his expression.
"They always sometimes come out; it is normal I am still trying to kill that thing bringing them back but thank god it uses smell to control its larvas."
Hundreds of questions flowed into Hildebrant mind but before he could ask door from the room opened.
"So here you are, I brought tea."
She then stopped in her tracks and sighed.
"You are here too."
Waving her enthusiastically Ivistar laughed.
"Long time no see, did you miss me?"
"Not in slightness."
Cecilie gave him a cold glance and then put tea with the plate and cutleries on the floor.
Hildebrant had just one question in mind.
What was going on?
