Mwas stared at his sister. He was conflicted. On one hand he was worried about herwhile on the other he was angry at her. 'She's the one who refused training yet here she is' he thought angrily. The nanos had finished working on the wounds but there was no way they could heal the psychological wounds that had been inflicted in her.
"I think we -", Thia said but was instantly shot down by Mwas. " Don't even think about putting me together with whatever it is you're thinking of", he said venomously. " Still your stupid selfish self eh"? Kim snapped up glaring at Mwas. Both boys headed for each other ready to fight. Thia jumped between them just in time. " I don't think we should be doing this right now," he said as he tried to keep them from fighting.
Suddenly, the door opened. It was time for the next fight.
* * *
Mwas forced his way through, chose two weapons, a sword and a gun and walked into the ring. He was in a fit of rage and, coupled with the fact that Kim had goaded him made him even angrier. He wanted to let loose and this was it. The Ītha bots merely looked at him and looked at each other. Kera the flexible bot entered the ring. The crowd cheered as the leza beams went up trapping the two, also serving as the signal to start the match.
Kera dashed at Mwas in a bid to bridge the gap between them. However, Mwas stepped back firing before him stopping Kera's attack. The bot was known to be flexible for a reason. It dodged all of Mwas' shots in such a way that was beautiful. It was as if it was dancing to a tune only it could hear.
Mwas smiled darkly. 'This damn bot thinks I'm like her' he thought angrily. 'I should tea-...' A metal kick to his left side sent him flying but a double back flip for a counter saved him. He stood up but Kera was already on him. It punched him on his right jaw, landed an uppercut before slamming his head down with both arms. It finished off with a metallic knee to his nose and a kick to his gut. It stepped back and reveled in the wild cheers of the crowd. A slight chuckle from Mwas made it turn.
Mwas sat on his knees and laughed. He laughed loudly and maniacally. The crowd fell silent as they watched the boy laugh. 'Poor kid' some thought, 'He's lost it' thought others. " Shall I put you out of your misery", Kera said walking towards him. Mwas stopped laughing and wiped his nose. He then glared at Kera. " A thing like you is putting me out of my misery"? Mwas said as he slowly stood up. " Don't make me laugh", he continued still glaring at the bot. Kera lunged at him.
Mwas sidestepped, grabbed the barrel of the gun and slammed it on Kera's head. He then grabbed the disoriented bot by its arm and, with all his strength, threw it to the leza walls. It screamed as the beams burned it. Mwas ran up to it, grabbed its feet, pulled and slammed it on the ground. The bot rattled in shock. He wasn't done. Mwas jumped on top of it, straddled and began to punch it relentlessly. However, he was hardly making a dent. The bot was made of metal and weak human punches. It smiled. That was a mistake.
Mwas looked at the bot smiling and something snapped. He took out the sword and rammed it
into the bots left side. It panicked and tried to get him off. It succeeded and stood up, bleeding lubricant oil. Mwas jumped on its back and, with the sword, stabbed the bot continuously in its neck. The crowd went silent. Kera tried to get him off to no avail. Mwas kept stabbing. He got off and stepped away. Kera tried to stop the oil from flowing and the wires from leaking off. Mwas walked slowly towards him, a satisfied grin spread out across his face.
Then, it happened in an instant. Kera was headless. The crowd gasped in dismay. Mwas walked to the bots body and shoved his hand into the neck. He was looking for something. He looked around and found Kim. He went a bit closer, dragging the bot's body along. Their eyes locked. Without looking, Mwas pulled out the bot's core and, ignoring he metal screams from the other side, crushed it. Everyone fell silent.
Albert, who had been watching, smiled. This was what he wanted. A win. But, this win came with a new notoriety. He liked it.
Kim, who hadn't looked away at all said," There he goes again," his voice cracked around the edges. He was angry and disappointed. Mwas hadn't changed.
