Chapter 30: Starling City
Tom repeatedly patted his chest, clearly signaling something towards Blair and I.
"You want to come with us?" Blair asked with slight hesitation in her voice.
"Nice, you're finally understanding Tom." I told Blair, but Tom was completely unimpressed by the fact that others could understand him.
Inside his head, what he was doing made sense, so everyone should get it.
"But…" Blair hesitated for a moment, and I knew what she was thinking about too. The event was about a week away, so I had to stay somewhere.
I guess she was hoping I could stay with her or something.
Wait a minute…staying with her at her place?
Did this mean…
I looked towards Tom, who was currently on his knees, begging me with his paws closed together and puppy eyes.
The things I am doing for this cat.
"Is it fine if we bring him along? He will be alone for a whole week if I am not there." I asked Blair, which made her sigh and kneel down towards Tom too.
"You can come on 2 conditions."
Tom stopped begging and looked at Blair seriously.
"First, you have to give me and Lucas private time."
Tom happily nodded, not even caring about me at all. He probably just was waiting to explore a new city.
He acted as if Blair was doing him the favor.
"And you have to not antagonize my dog."
Tom thought about it for a moment, then took out a piece of paper, and a pen from ancient times and started writing down a contract.
**Contract Agreement**
This agreement was made on this day, [18 Nov 2015], between Thomas Jasper Cat, Sr. (hereinafter referred to as "Tom") and Blair Cornelia Waldorf (hereinafter referred to as "Blair").
Terms and Conditions:
Private Time Requirement
Tom agrees to allow Blair and Lucas uninterrupted private time during the duration of the visit. This includes respecting their need for personal space and not intruding on their activities or conversations without prior permission from Blair.
No Antagonizing the Dog
Tom agrees not to antagonize, provoke, or otherwise disturb Blair's dog in any manner. This includes, but is not limited to, shouting at, teasing, or engaging in any behavior that may cause distress or discomfort to the dog. Tom will only engage against the dog if the dog does the previously mentioned things against Tom.
Food and housing
Blair has to provide the highest quality of housing and food for Tom. Food cannot be limited to cat food and must be the highest quality of Human food. If Tom is at anypoint not satisfied with the food or housing he will interrupt Blair and Lucas's private time.
Toms private time
For one of the days during the trip, to be discussed in the future, Tom requires 2 hours of time away from Blair and Lucas supervision. Tom will do his utter best and will make it within the time frame back to wherever Lucas is in the world, only if he is given the privacy. This is a non negotiable point in the contract.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this contract.

Tom then signed the contract and passed it to Blair while she read it through.
Her eyes did narrow for a second but she ended up signing the contract happily and shook Tom's hand.
Each party clearly thought that they had scammed each other.
But they both knew one other thought very clearly.
What was that thought?
….How was I supposed to know? I couldn't read their minds. But I would know in the future for sure.
…
The following morning, Blair had a Limo prepared for Tom and I.
Tom surprisingly didn't pack anything, nor did he wear clothes like he usually did when he went outside, he seemed to be in a happy mood though so that's all that was needed.
I packed a duffel bag of clothes for a week, some emergency snacks for Tom and Buzz who were inside of his wooden Box.
The toy didn't stop annoying me until I allowed him to come with us.
"Lucas, come on in!" Blair called to me as her driver opened the door for us.
And before I could even enter, Tom strutted in and made himself comfortable.
Blair didn't say anything more, and just gestured for me to enter inside as well.
Blair leaned into Tom's ear and whispered something but he shook his head, not budging in whatever they were talking about.
Obviously, I could hear what they were talking about due to my enhanced senses.
Blair then went into a sulking mood until I grabbed Tom and raised him into the air.
He started to fail his arms in desperation to cling to something which was extremely funny to watch.
"Sometimes Blair, don't ask Tom, just do what you want. He will understand he doesn't have a choice."
I moved Tom to the window seat and moved in closer to sit right beside Blair, as she happily wrapped her hands around mine while resting her head on my shoulder.
"Got it." She said with a happy chuckle, while Tom held a small sign that read: [Cats have rights too]

(Queen residence, 3rd person pov)
"Ollie, I have to go out." A girl with a sleek, shoulder-length dark brown bob said.
She wore leather pants paired with a fashionable blouse. Her look was completed with stylish ankle boots and minimalistic jewelry, maintaining a sophisticated yet edgy appearance.
"Where are you going Speedy?" A man who wore tailored jeans with a casual button-down shirt replied from the living room. Even his slightly larger clothes could not hide his muscular body and the intense aura that was around him.
"Just to meet Blair. She is back in town for a while."
"Waldorf? Oh wow I haven't seen her since…"
"Around the time you got onto the gambit. And that is because she has actively been avoiding you." Thea Queen told her brother.
"And why is that?" Oliver Queen asked.
"She used to have the biggest crush on you and she is too embarrassed by it to even see you, before you say anything I am not letting you meet her." Thea immediately said.
"I am sorry Speedy, not to judge your friends but I think I have better things to do then try and hit on an 18-year-old. Especially considering I have Felicity."
"Just making sure." Thea said as she left the room.
The moment she left the room, Oliver got a call from a number that he didn't hear from so often.
Mainly because they were both so insanely busy all the time, but that didn't mean he didn't immediately pick up the phone.
"What is it ?" He asked.
"Oliver, I need your help." Barry Allen said from the other side of the phone.
"How bad?" Oliver asked.
"That's just it." Barry said, slightly stressed, "I don't know how bad."
