"Sister, where do you plan for us to go?" Arielle asked out of fear.
Although she wanted to get out of that house and change schools, she was still afrad that they might not be able survive outside.
"Honestly, I don't know. I have checked most of the countries and in the most developed country, one needs to be a citizen or have a relative there," Aurora replied a hint of fatigue in her tone.
"Now what are we going to do?" Arielle's big watery eyes stared at Aurora as she still playing with her fingers so as to reduce her fear and panic.
"Just don't worry, your sister will figure out something," Aurora repkied with a reassuring smile and as she patted the latter's head.
"Okay."
"Where are both of you going?" a voice startled them, and they looked at the man who had given them a ride.
Aurora recalled how they was stranded when they came out of the school premises.
As one of the prestigious yet boarding school, it wasn't allocated at the city like the others.
It was at the southern side of the city where only rich people resided since the villas and apartment there costed tens of millions.
Because of that, it was rare to find taxis there.
As walked slowly, stopping and requesting a lift from every car that passed them without caring who was the owner, they finally got a lift from the twentieth car they had stopped.
That's how they were in a strangers car.
"Uhm, just drop us at the entrance of one of the hotels, which is luxurious, but there aren't a lot of people," Aurora replied after coming back to reality.
"Your lucky day. Matthew, take us to Diaz Hotel," the man said with no emotions on his face.
"Okay, boss," the driver replied but he felt that the boss was quite happy as he was a businessman.
"Miss, I hope that you have money to pay for a room there because the hotel is very expensive," he said coldly as if he were looking down on them.
He didn't want them to leave bad reviews when thy were thrown out. Also, if they were filmed, the hotel might be boycotted.
"No need to bother about us but thanks," Aurora said coldly. How could she not see what he was thinking?
"Who said I was worried about you?" he said arrogantly.
"If you aren't worried, then why did you ask me that question?" Aurora said sharply, nearly bursting out with anger.
"I just don't want to be humiliated when both of you get humiliated. After all, people will think we are all together since you will exit from my car," he said.
"Hae there, mister, no need to be arrogant just because you have an expensive car while we don't. We may not have a car, but we have money to pay for a comfortable suite," Aurora said coldly, making the people in the car shiver in fear apart from the cold man and Arielle, since she was brought up in a cold environment.
The driver and personal assistant were shivering because they were afraid of what their boss would do to the woman since no one had ever talked to their boss in such a tone.
They marveled to see someone who didn't fear him and argued with him without caring about his feelings and who he was.
After chuckling, he said with a small smile on his face, "Okay. I will be waiting to see."
His employees were shocked to see that he did not get angry. Instead, he was calm and smiling. They wondered what had happened to their cold boss and what charms the woman used.
Aurora initially wanted to say something but shut her mouth after deciding against it. She felt that actions spoke louder than words.
The drive afterward was silent till they arrived. The two ladies got out of the car after saying thank you and walked to the receptionist.
"Hello, welcome to Diaz Hotel, how may we serve you?" the middle-aged woman behind the desk asked politely with a smile on her face.
"Hello, we are looking for a room to spend the night in. How much will it cost?" Aurora asked.
"Sorry ma'am. The small and cheap rooms are already full," the woman replied as she saw the outfits tey wearing were quite cheap and not branded.
Aurora saw how she was looking at them and frowned. "What about the rest?"
The woman stared at Aurora for a while as she felt hesitant but nonetheless opened her mouth to speak as she felt there wasn't any harm in telling her.
"The remaining ones are one medium room with one bed which costs 20000 per day, accommodation plus simple meals. We also have suites which have one living room and two bedrooms with washrooms and closets in each room. The suite costs 150000 per day with meals and, lastly, we have a presidential suite on the top floor which has a living room, gym, kitchen, washroom, swimming pool, and three bedrooms which have a washroom and a closet in each room. The suite costs 250000 per day with extravagant meals. Which one would you like?"
"Aurora, let's go to another hotel. This one is so expensive," Arielle said worriedly.
"No need to worry about money, I will tell you something when we go to the room," Aurora said, assuring her younger sister.
"Okay, I trust you."
"What if one wants to buy the whole suite instead of paying for a day?"
The receptionist was shocked and looked at Aurora.
She had long heard that some rich people pretend to be poor so that they can see how they would be treated but she never thought she would come across one of them.
She sighed in relief that she had not treated them badly or talked sarcastically.
"One suite costs 2.5 million while the presidential suite costs 15 million ma'am," the receptionist answered respectfully.
Aurora raised her eyebrows at how fast the latter's attitude and tone had changed. She understood why Luciana was so adamant on getting richer.
"Okay. I will buy the presidential suite. I hope there are workers to clean when we aren't in."
"Yes. Okay then. Fill in the paperwork before completing the procedures and payment."
After half an hour, they had completed everything and had been given the suite card.
On the other hand.
"Sir, the lady has bought the presidential suite," Matthew said to the man who was seated on the sofa smoking.
"Have you found out who she is?"
"Yes sir, they are the legitimate daughters of the Adams. The eldest is Aurora Adams, while the younger one is Arielle Adams. Aurora was engaged to Edward, but she discovered that he was cheating on her with her stepsister Luciana. The family got into a conflict and Aurora ran away from home and went to the Riverside High School to pick up her younger sister. Mr Adams had not paid for Arielle's school fees, hence I believe Aurora did not want to leave her sister behind to suffer."
"Then where did she get the money?"
"Sir, the card she used was left behind by her late mother, Gladwell Hamilton. She left a lot of money behind for them without her husband's knowledge, since she knew that her daughters might suffer after she was gone. All the money they inherited is more than 500 Billion. I don't know the exact figures since two accounts have been hidden and can't figure out how much is in each account. I think Miss Aurora knew about the money left behind, but she kept quiet in fear that her father might take it."
The cold man tapped at the table as he listened.
"That stupid woman is desperate to get married so that she can get out of this country, and make sure she doesn't get married to any man."
"But sir.."
"Just shut up and do as I say. You may leave now."
After Matthew left, the man did not know why he was interested in the woman, but he knew that he wanted her for himself, since he had never seen a woman who talked to him in such a daring manner.

"Bro, where are you? We are waiting for you in the restaurant," Cole said.
"I am on the way," he said as he stood up and hung up the call.
He walked out of the suite and walked to the elevator.
"Please hold it for me," a woman shouted as the elevator's door was closing. He did not care at first but he did as told after recognising the voice.
"It's you?"
"I have just done you a favor, but you can't even say thank you," he said coldly, making Aurora roll her eyes.
"Sir, thank you so much," she said sarcastically, making the man nearly lose control.
"I heard what you said to your sister in the car," he said, making Aurora shift her gaze to him.
"How did you know she was my sister?"
"Cause both of you have some similar features."
She did not answer, as if she was waiting for him to continue.
"I heard you are interested in leaving the city and you need to have a marriage certificate in the city to which you are going."
