"No need to worry about that. I think you are capable enough to find out who it is when I leave even without me telling you."
He looked at the woman beside her and wondered how she knew, but he didn't need to ask, since she was clever enough to find out. Knowing that there was nothing else to do, she picked up the towel beside the bed, wrapped it around her petite figure, and stood up before falling back on the bed, making the guy laugh loudly.
Glaring at him, she asked coldly, "What are you laughing about?"
Not intending to answer her, he stood up and walked to the bathroom. She sighed as she found it hard to be a married woman. After some time, he came back and walked to her side before picking her up and taking her to the bathroom, placing her in the hot water tub which was filled with bubbles and roses, making it kind of romantic. She looked up at the man and wondered if he had become a romantic guy.
"Were you planning to leave after taking a shower? Today you are sleeping here. Then go back tomorrow. I'm sure you don't want your sister to be worried about you," he told her, out of fear that she might run away and fail to see her once more.
"Okay. I am tired," she said as she closed her eyes.
"Are you crazy? You are falling asleep when you are in the tub?" he asked with a frown as he looked at the woman who was covered in foam, making it impossible to see her body.
He bent and started cleaning her up before she got a cold, and he didn't want her to blame him later on.
In the presidential suite at Diaz Hotel.
"Hello baby," a blonde woman shouted as she walked in with a takeout bag.
"Fai," Arielle shouted as soon as she saw her and ran to her, making her laugh out loud.
"There, I wonder how you are always full of energy early in the morning."
"Cause I had enough rest at night? Or maybe I was recharged?" she asked innocently, making both of them laugh.
"Where is Aurora?"
With a sigh, Arielle shook her head and she answered," She hasn't come back yet."
"What do you mean she hasn't come back? Do you think something happened to her?"
"I don't know. I have just woken up and didn't get time to call her."
With that, she picked up her phone and dialed her sister's number, which rang for a little while before being picked up.
"Hello," a sleepy voice came from the other side.
"Gurl, don't tell me you are still asleep yet!" Faith shouted.
'No, I am now awake since you've woken me up," Aurora said lazily.
"Why are you speaking as if you had a crazy night yesterday? If it weren't for the fact that you are still a virgin, I would have thought otherwise. Aaaarrgh, sorry baby, I forgot that you were here with me."
Arielle rolled her eyes before asking her sister when she would be back.
"Let me fresh up first, then I will be there. Have you eaten?"
"No, but Faith has come with breakfast."
"Okay, go and freshen up, then have breakfast. I will be there in less than an hour," she said, and hung up the call.
"Who does she think she is? Does she think she is the daughter-in-law of the Powell family to hang up the call she didn't make?" Faith complained, making Arielle giggle.
"Go and clean up before she comes. I don't want to be lectured by her early in the morning."
"Okay."
Being left alone, she looked around and was shocked at how luxurious and expensive everything looked. Coming back to her senses, she remembered this was one of the presidential suites at Diaz apart from the suite which belonged to Gerald Powell. She tried thinking about where her best friend got money in no vain and was curious.
"Maybe now that I have gotten a chance to get in the suite, I might explore and see what the difference is between it and other suites," she murmured.
She marveled at the pictures and antiques on the wall. She recognized some since her father liked them and knew how expensive they cost. Looking around, she saw that the cheapest was three million and realized that her family was not rich enough, but that didn't mean that the Adams were richer than her family. Taking a deep breath, she decided to wait for Aurora to come back so that she could explain what was going on.
After half an hour, the door was opened and Aurora walked in with a bag full of shopping.
"Gurl, where the hell were you? And how did you manage to book this suite?" Faith bombarded her with questions immediately after she walked in.
"Good morning to you too," Aurora said, seriously making Faith groan.
"Come on. Answer me," she said complaining.
"Ooh, you mean buying this suite?" Aurora asked mischievously.
"What the hell," Faith shouted as she looked at the room once more with her mouth wide open.
With a laugh, Aurora looked around and admired living in riches since she could get anything she wanted.
"The savings mom left behind. I thought I had told you," she answered.
"Wait, don't tell me that there was a lot of money."
Taking her silence as the answer, Faith couldn't believe it. "Then why did you keep quiet or not use the money when you needed it?"
"What? So that my father finds out that mom left us some money and took it from us? I wouldn't have risked that."
"I understand you now. What is Arielle doing here instead of being in school? By the way, when are you going to try your wedding dress?"
Aurora looked at her and pain and sadness were evident in her eyes. " Which wedding dress?"
"What do you mean which wedding dress? Your wedding with Edward is around the corner. It has always been your greatest wish to get married to him."
"Yeah, but there won't be any wedding. Sorry to disappoint you," she said calmly, as if she wasn't talking about her wedding.
Faith looked at her and tried figuring out why she said that, after all, she knew her best friend best, and the way she said those words made her shiver in fear, and she had always been happy when they talked about the wedding.
"There won't be a wedding? Why? Can you explain to me what happened?" she asked softly afraid of making her angry.
"I found him cheating on me with Luciana and later he canceled the wedding. Right now, Arielle and I are here because we have cut ties with Dad since he only knows how to support his mistress and bastard."
Hearing her sad and angry tone and what happened, Faith's heart was in pain because of what her friend was going through. She couldn't understand why they had suffered so much.
"Sorry. So, now that you have cut ties with them and have money, what are you planning to do?"
"We will be leaving in a few days and coming back after some years. Sorry, but we need to do that. After we can come back, we will make sure that they regret everything. Right now, even if I have money, I am not strong enough. Hope you can understand me."
"Even if I hate to hear that you are going away, I understand why you are doing so. Maybe I should accompany the two of you."
"No.
Bang
Bang
Bang
They heard someone banging at the door, causing them to jump in fright as they looked at the door, fear evident in their eyes.
Aurora walked towards the door, and opened it but she didn't see anyone thus they assumed that it wasn't their door.
Arielle, come down and eat," she shouted loud enough for her younger sister to hear and bring an end to her talk with Faith.
