Another busy day to get to work, but Aurora got a feeling that something would happen today and it made her so anxious.
"Good morning Yvonne," Aurora greeted her coworker and friend in the office immediately after she walked into the office.
"Good morning there," she replied, unusually happily, and Aurora found it weird.
"Why are you late?" Yvonne asked.
"Please tell me that Miss Lynne doesn't know that I am late," Aurora said, as she hoped luck to be on her side.
She chuckled before answering her, "You don't need to be anxious, she doesn't know."
Aurora wanted to ask why people were not settled yet, but she pushed it behind her mind and walked to her small office.
Aurora was seated in her office as she went through some papers. She wanted to finish them quickly so that she could go out with her friends since it was on a Friday, but with the number of documents piling up, she wondered whether she would make it.
This reminded her that she was more of a servant in her father's own company. She didn't understand why he prohibited her from telling anyone in the office who she was. Furthermore, she was forced to start from the lowest job before climbing to the top of her skills. Unlike her sister, Luciana was given the position of manager in the design department immediately after she graduated.
Looking at the pile of paperwork waiting for her, she smiled miserably, since she knew that was supposed to be Luciana's work, but it was pushed to her. She was oblivious to the fact they were giving her a lot of work to prevent her from showing people her talents, and they were also afraid that she might take over the company one day after everyone recognized her skills.
It is now eleven in the morning, and she has been seated there since eight. Aurora knew that she needed to take a rest, but if her superior found her resting she might get fired since no one in the company knew that she was the eldest young miss from the Adams Family, and she also knew that if she got fired, her father would not help her at all to get her job back in the company.

Her phone was ringing and she wondered who dared to call her when she was in the office. All of her friends and family knew that they had better not disturb her when she was working in the office. Taking the phone out of her handbag, she looked at who was calling, and she was so shocked to see it was one of her friends calling. Why is she calling? Isn't she supposed to be in the office? Just like me, Debby hates being called when she goes to work, and she rarely calls anyone when she is in her office building. Now, looking at the screen, Aurora wondered why she was calling. Out of curiosity and worry, she picked up the call.
"Debby?" she called out softly.
"Aurora," Debby called her name. She could tell from her voice that she was worried about something ,more so afraid.Â
"Can you please come to the estate now? Something is wrong, and you need to see it for yourself instead of me explaining everything to you," she said.
"What do you mean that something is wrong?" Aurora asked because she didn't seem to understand what she was saying.Â
"I was on my way out of the premises when I saw what I wantyou to know, so you had better hurry up because even I can't believe it," Debby told her, emphasizing how important it was for Aurora to go.
Debby didn't want to tell her friend what she had seen as it would heartbreak her, make her not believe it, or even worse ruin their friendship thus she opted for Aurora to go and see it for herself.
"Okay, Debby. I am on my way," immediately after Aurora said that she hung up and picked up her handbag and coat.
Aurora later hurriedly walked out of her office but, just to her luck, her boss was standing outside her door.
"Where are you going?" She said coldly.
"I am very sorry, ma'am, but I have some family emergency, and I am needed immediately," Aurora exclaimed anxiously, afraid that the woman wouldn't let her go but at this moment she didn't care whether she would be given permission or not.
"You are so lucky that I am in a good mood today that I don't feel like firing people. Leave," she said.
"Thank you, ma'am," Aurora said as she passed her without waiting for the latter to say anything else as she was afraid she might change her mind.
She ran towards the elevator and pressed the button so that she could get in. In three minutes, she was already on the first floor. Luckily, immediately after she got outside, she saw a cab which took her to her apartment.
Immediately the guards saw her, he opened the door.
"Hello madam," they said, but due to the hurry she was in, she didn't get a chance to greet them back.
She did not find Debby outside, and she knew that that woman had already left for her job, but it wasn't a problem since she knew from the call that something was happening in her apartment and that's why Debby called her.
As she walked into her house, she saw clothes scattered on the living and moans coming from her bedroom stunning her and making her halt.
Apart from her, only her boyfriend and sister Luciana had the keys. She wanted to claim maybe it was Luciana inside her house but that could not explain why the moans were coming from her room instead of the guest room.
She walked hurriedly but carefully so that the people in the room would not discover that she was back.
Without thinking twice, she opened the bedroom door when she was in the corridor and walked inside.
She was shocked, but the word shocked could not describe how she felt at that moment. Shaking her head and trying her best not to believe it, she knew that she had to believe it.
She now understood why Debby told her it was best if she saw it for herself.
"Why?" she asked.
"I am sorry Aurora, but I am in love with Luciana, not you, and now that you know about Luciana and me, it is best if we call off the engagement," her fiancé said with a disgusted look on her face.
"Then why were you with me instead of her?" Aurora asked angrily, as she knew what kind of a person her sister was.
"Stop making a fuss over here! You are no longer needed here! Didn't you hear him saying that he loved me and not you? If you have some self-dignity you had better leave so that we can continue with what we were doing," Luciana, her sister, said mockingly as he hugged the man.
The man kissed her passionately in front of Aurora, but from an angle, Luciana was giving Aurora a provocative smile.
She had waited for this day, "I have succeeded in snatching him from you," she mouthed Aurora, making her furious.
She walked towards them, held Luciana by her hair, and dragged her, breaking their kiss in the process.
"Aurora, what do you think you are doing?" the man asked angrily when he saw the scene.
"Sister, please stop it. I didn't mean it. It's just that we love each other. Please don't hurt me," Luciana said softly as she cried, piercing the man's heart.
When Aurora heard her words, she was disgusted, but when she saw that 'her fiancé' was looking at her with bloodshot eyes, she understood what was happening.
She forced Luciana to face her, but she never let go of her hair.
She slapped her four times continuously as she vented out her anger.
"Who gave you the right to harm my woman?" the man asked as she slapped Aurora causing her to release Luciana due to pain.
She looked at the man in disbelief.
"I will make sure you regret everything you have done!" she said as she looked at them coldly before leaving the room.
She tried to stay calm and not act out of anger. After looking at the pair once more, she wiped her tears and walked out of her room. She knew that she couldn't stay in that house with the disgusting and cheating bastards. She went to the mansion and locked herself up.
"How long will you be a disgrace to us?" she heard someone in the room ask after an hour of sleeping and trying to calm herself.
