"Were you eavesdropping on our conversation?" she asked angrily and coldly.
"Maybe I should remind you that both of you were speaking in my car, and you weren't alone, so it can't be counted as eavesdropping," he explained without even realising it while she rolled her eyes because of the lame excuse.
"So what do you propose?" she askedas she knew he wouldn't be asking if he didn't something in his mind.
The man looked at her, trying to see her through and find out the reason she asked that question, but was meant with cold eyes staring at him making him understand that the woman had seen through his intentions.
"I am also in need of a wife since my grandparents are insisting. What if we come into an agreement, we get married, you get what you want, and I am the same?" He asked after coming up with a lie, although it wasn't a complete lie.
Aurora looked at the man beside her trying to figure out what he really wanted, but didn't see through him.
She couldn't understand why he was offering her a marriage when they had just met some few hours ago.
"I don't think that I may be of help. I want to leave this city or country for more than five years," she told him coldly, hoping that the man would understand that she didn't want to be acquitted by him, but the words that came from his lips afterward shocked her.
"I am fine with it. Most people go outside to improve themselves. As your husband, I am supposed to support you and make sure you achieve your goals," he said, causing her to glare at him.
"You aren't my husband!" she shouted coldly, as she found the man irritating.
"I know, but I will in a few minutes or hours," he said with an evil grin on his face as if he was too sure that she would accept his proposal soon afterward.
"Are you sure that without me close to you, you wouldn't cheat?" She asked as she couldn't understand why the man was insisting on her marrying him. There were a lot of beautiful young girls out there, and he could get anyone he wanted.
"There is no need for you to be insecure. I promise you that I will wait for you, and it isn't as if we won't be communicating," he said with a serious face trying to indicate the seriousness of this matter and how he was willing to go for her.
"Okay," she said, but she didn't believe his words. She vowed to keep a distance and not fall in love with him as she didn't want to get hurt once more.
"Does that mean that you have agreed?" he asked as his heart beat fast, but he didn't want to have high expectations of the woman.
"Do I have a better solution? Nope, so I might as well agree with you, but I am still worried about you and your desires."
"If you are still worried, then after we get the marriage certificate, tonight will be our wedding night, so we might as well become one. Then afterward I will wait till you come back."
"Do I have an option?" she said curiously but she was panicking inwardly making him chuckle.
"No," he said, making her groan.
"Should you go back to your room to get the documents?"
"Lucky you. I have them here."
As they were driving to the civil bureau, she didn't understand why she agreed to marry and have sex with him that night. She shook her head, trying her best to ignore everything that was coming into her mind.

She took out her phone and found a message from her best friend Faith.
Faith: Where the hell are you? I have been waiting for you for hours, but you aren't here yet.
Aurora: Something came up. Sorry, let us meet tomorrow and I will explain everything.
Faith: Okay. Take care.
Aurora:ย I will.
The thought of Arielle getting anxious if she didn't go back home came into her mind.
Aurora: I won't be able to go back. Make sure you order meals and eat. I will be back tomorrow.
Arielle: Where are you going?
Aurora: I am just trying to figure out how we will leave. Don't worry about me, I will take care of myself and don't forget to also do so.
Arielle: Okay. I will be waiting for good news.
Aurora felt a gaze at her and she looked up.
"Are you done? We are already here," he said as she hummed in response but continued to sit down.
"What are you thinking about? Or are you having second thoughts?"
Imagining that she was now a married woman and that she had just lost her virginity to the man beside her made her speechless. The thought of marrying a man whom you've just met can be characterized as insane.
"What are you thinking?"
Hearing his question, she turned to look at him and then shook her head later on.
"If anyone told me that you could be shy, I wouldn't have agreed. You should just be shy when you are with me."
"Aren't you crazy? This might be our last day being together and here you claim that I should only be shy when I'm with you," she said, rolling her eyes.
"Who said that you wouldn't be coming back?" he asked coldly.
"Hei, no need to be upset, yes I will come back," she said in the same tone as him.
"Are you planning to start a company?" curiosity was evident in both his eyes and tone.
Looking at his eyes made her seem to have entered another world, but it wasn't possible, since they were too cold most of the time or emotionless.
"Yeah. Maybe I should go after buying land and the construction has started. What do you think?"
"I think it's a great idea since I get a chance to be with you again before leaving," he said flirtatiously, making her speechless.
"I am serious right now," she said with a frown.
She started lowering her guards after they got married and spent the night together.
"Okay. You can make that arrangement but at the same time, I think that you should rent a floor or offices so that you can employ people or start working before the construction is finished. But since you are going, who will be in charge of the company?"
