Clearwater City, Hope Orphanage
"What do you mean you can't find him? Look carefully, he should be here. Where could he have gone?"
Sister Amelia's voice was tense as she questioned the man in front of her.
"We've searched the entire orphanage, but he's really missing. The last time anyone saw him was the day before yesterday," the man replied, clearly nervous.
Amelia didn't respond immediately. She leaned back in her chair, staring up at the ceiling, her mind racing with possibilities.
"Alright, you can go. I'll look for him myself,"
She finally said, her voice calm but filled with a quiet urgency.
As the man left, Amelia reached for her cellphone and dialed Cruz's number.
The phone rang only once before Cruz's familiar voice came through,
"Hello?"
"Is he with you?" Amelia asked without preamble.
"Who?" Cruz sounded genuinely confused.
