As Yohan approached the entrance of Harbor City, he noticed the guards stationed by the gate, their eyes narrowing as they observed him.
His outfit, along with the black-and-white Oni mask covering his face, seemed to make them uneasy.
Oni masks were a rare sight in Arkas; though this world shared many similarities with Earth, its history and culture were distinctly different.
The mask's fierce expression, combined with Yohan's aura, was enough to make anyone feel a hint of nervousness.
Yohan noticed the guard's hesitation, so he simply handed over his ID badge.
The guard checked it, his gaze flicking between the ID and Yohan, clearly wary but unable to deny him entry. Yohan didn't waste any time.
"Let your superiors know," he said in a low voice, his tone carrying a weight of urgency.
"A beast tide is coming."
