Yohan jolted awake at the sound, instinctively reaching for his weapon, only to remember where he was. This wasn't the hostile environment of Horizon; he was back in the orphanage, safe.
"Ufff, it'll take time to shake off this feeling," Yohan muttered to himself, sitting up and scanning the room. He didn't recall setting an alarm.
"Hello, Yohan. All available information has been acquired and is ready for you to browse," came the familiar voice of Gemini, the AI.
"Oh, so it was you?" Yohan asked, realizing the source of the sound.
"Yes," Gemini replied calmly.
"Hmm, let me freshen up first," Yohan said, grabbing a towel and stepping out of his room.
The hallway was bathed in a soft glow from the two moons shining outside. It was already night. The orphanage was silent, everyone fast asleep by now, as Yohan made his way to the bathroom.
