Gavriel stood at the roof top of a three story building looking at a black crow, holding out his arm the crow flew and landed in his palm.
He looked at the crow's black eyes which changed to gray, linking his vision with the crow's.
Letting the bird fly away he closed his eyes and opened them to reveal a dense black colour. He saw the world from up above, searching for a red haired girl wearing a white dress.
He spotted her seated outside a certain shop while she ate something that appeared to be bread.
Looking around among the people, he spotted two men looking at his maid with conniving eyes.
Jumping down from the roof, he covered his face and whispered something in the air.
When Gavriel removed his hands from his face, he appeared to be a whole new person.
His hair appeared shorter, eyes still black, nose longer, lips thinner with a stubble on his chin.
His clothes had changed too, he nolonger wore the well tailored fitting navy blue suit but rather ordinary clothes with a dirty cream shirt and brown slacks.
He appeared to be just like any ordinary person, turning a corner to his left. He arrived about five meters away from the shop Florah was seated at, clueless about what was going on around her as she continued to munch on her food.
He looked at the two men who continued to observe her with heinous looks in their eyes.
Muting out other people's voices, he focused on the two men's conservation.
"We cannot afford to misfire with this one, it's too important for the mistress. You know she doesn't pardon any mistakes". One man whispered to the other.
"Well what if she is the one we have been looking for, we cannot let this chance pass. You know how many favours we will obtain if we take her to the mistress and she is the one?" The other man argued back.
"How many red heads have our brothers and sisters brought to the mistress only to end up being burnt along with the girl they brought. We cannot afford to misfire". The first man tried to reason with his dumb friend.
"Well, we can follow her and see for ourselves if she is anything special and if she isn't. We can also have some fun with her, after all she isn't bad looking either".
The second man who looked thinner leaned towards his friend whispering to tempt his friend more.
The first man looked at the girl and agreed with his friend, licking his lips at the thought of the girl's full pink lips screaming and squirming under him.
"Ok, lets follow her" The first man fell into his friend's temptation.
Gavriel looked at the girl who didn't have any sense of danger whatsoever. He saw her stand up after eating. Looking around, she moved behind a parked carriage and squatted down to remove two coins from her shoe.
He smirked amused by the girl's antiques, glancing at the two idiots who had ulterior motives for the red head. He saw them follow her to wherever she went keeping some distance between them and her.
He saw his personal maid enter a carriage, then he saw the two men also enter the same carriage.
Gavriel thought about the men's conversation 'mistress?' He asked himself.
Making his way to the carriage, he entered and sat on the seat across his maid. Looking at her he smirked in ridicule 'To think that you are rejoicing the victory of your escape from me when am sitting across you, so clueless'. He internally mocked the girl.
Florah kept her head down almost dosing off but the uneven route the carriage took made her sway which made it impossible to stay dosing.
Plus she felt unsettled which confused her as she should be happy to have escaped the King's clutches whom she believed was possibly a witch tricking everyone that he was a pureblood vampire.
Florah felt a piercing gaze from whoever sat across her. Lifting her head slowly, she glanced at the unknown man seated across her.
There eyes met and Florah was quick to avert hers not wanting to be caught staring.
Leaning forward, the man whispered for only the two of them to hear. "You know it's rude to stare".
"How would you know that I was staring if you weren't doing the same, sir" Florah retorted.
Looking among her fellow passengers, she noticed two other men looking her way who quickly averted there eyes when she looked at them.
Florah kept on feeling uneasiness in her stomach wondering if it was the buns she had eaten.
Hearing the man across her chuckle, she looked at him and heard him say, "You have awfully red hair, young lady" which she thought was odd.
Gavriel said it loud enough for the two idiots to hear. He saw how they looked at him like he wanted to steal there piece of meat and exchanged a sinister smile with the duo.
