CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO
ROXANNE'S POV
I had cried myself to sleep. I just couldn't believe that I would, in just a month's stay, be sacked from the company.
I was so annoyed with the unfairness and Dera's dirty lies that I didn't wait to demand my paycheck. Once again, I had been despised and hated by all and sundry. Even Mr. Edward who had begun warming up to me, was now aloof.
I needed to go somewhere amusing to clear my head. "The amusement park will be just the best place," I thought.
I stood up from my bed and headed to the shower. I was hungry, but I decided to give myself the luxury of eating out.
At least it would be nice to enjoy a well-cooked meal and a nice ride on the Ferris wheel.
I envisioned myself screaming my lungs out, and couldn't stop the smile that came with the imagination.
In the meantime, I was done with bathing. I wasn't one, to use an hour to bathe.
