" Levi! Can you not shout for me like that? " Rex was startled, almost jumping out of his chair.
" I'm sorry, father. But this is important " Levi said as he came to stand in front of his father.
Rex could see he looked agitated which is rather unusual as Levi was always calm even in the most dire of situations. " What is it, Levi? Are you okay? "
Levi took a deep breath to calm down. " I'm good, father. No not good but anxious. I just received a report that the magic stone will appear at the auction... "
" What? " Rex jumped to his feet and grab Levi's hand "what magic stone? Is it the one the prophecy says? "
" Yes. Miron has seen it. And jasper just reported that there are Vader's men already on the move. It's possible they're after the magical stone. Which means they'll try to join the auction and either try their best to aquire the stone or take it by force! Heavens! " Levi jammed his fingers into his hair.
"How the fuck did they ever hear about the magic stone? This is supposed to be top secret only exclusive to use." Levi was really getting agitated by the minute.
The emergence of the stone was like a dream come true for him because he knows his mate wouldn't be so far behind. If the emergence of the magic stone is true, then it wouldn't be long before he meet his mate.
Rex was too stunned to move. They've all been waiting for this moment and now it's finally happening. It's like a dream.
" Are you absolutely sure about this? this is not a false alarm? " Rex still wasn't sure whether he should believe the news or not. Afterall it will be really disappointing if it turns out to be false.
" I didn't want to believe it at first but after I heard Vader has made a move, I have no choice but to believe it now.
He's been silent for so long but now willing to send his men to the enemies den, he must have heard something as well. It's better to be safe than sorry. " Levi replied.
He doesn't want to think about what will happen if Vader gets his hands and that magical stone before him. It would be a disaster for sure.
" Then we need to plan and move fast . The auction is starting tomorrow and I am sure they would be present at the auction. We have to make a plan to root them out." Rex said looking at his son's anxious face. He understands how Levi must be feeling right now.
" Yes. I'll be on it immediately. I just came here to let you know. " Levi replied, his brain already working out a thousand scenarios of how to the situation.
" This also means your mate must be near already. What are we going to do now, with all the other princesses I invited? what if she's at the auction too? I shouldn't have been so forward! " Rex said with a look of self blame on his face. He really should have listened to Levi from the start! Now what are they going to do if he really met her at the auction?
" It's okay father, let them come. We'll deal with everything at the right time. And if she's really there, if I really find her there... that'll be even better. " Levi replied looking dreamy. He knew he'd be the happiest man in the world if he really find her. But he restrained his thoughts. It would be best to find her first before building up hope. It will be too painful if all this wasn't real.
Rex laughed looking at his son's long suffering expression. " Yes, son. It would be really great. She might even be one of the princess."
" I don't mind what she is , father. Wether she'll be a princess or someone with a lower status, I don't care. I just want to find her and put an end to all this."
" I know,son. I know. I pray it you won't have to wait much longer. Now go do what you have to do, son and wait for tomorrow." He walked to his son and hug him. "Everything Will be alright."
Levi hugged his father back. " Alright, father. I'll take my leave now." He bowed to his father before hurrying out of the room.
Now, he'll be prepared and ready for whatever tomorrow have in store for him.

Azure kingdom
The day of the Auction.
By the time it was evening of the auction, every king in Midgard along with their princes and princesses including their generals and person guards, have arrived at Arebeon Kingdom.
The yearly auction is a royal affair among the kings and nobles of Midgard and it's always held at the Azuran mage tower where the four, powerful elemental dragons and royal Archmages of Midgard operates for security reasons because most of the things to be auctioned are extremely valuable.
Although information about the items are always kept confidential. nobody knows what will be auctioned except the people in charge. Which is why no Royal family in Midgard like to miss it. Those that could not attend would always send their representatives in the form of their princes, princesses or their trusted aids. No one wants to miss out on the auction.
At the end of the auctions, Azure Kingdom always organise a dinner banquet for the royals in the palace.
Levi arrived at the Azuran mage tower along with jasper and the rest of his personal guards. He had seen that the tower was abuzz with servants and mages going about their duties and lots of royals and nobles making their way into the auction all with their number plates in their hands.
He entered the hall, flanked on both sides by his general and one of his personal body guards. immediately all eye's were on him. the royals and nobles bowing or nodding to him in greetings, some trying to strike up a conversation with him, while the princesses can only drool over him.
He was standing intimidatingly tall and extremely handsome with his long platinum hair pulled in a low bun at the back of his head with a Golden crown adorning his temple.
He was dressed in a Gold and white tunic and a white cape with a platinum gold dragon embroidered on its back.. He looked regal. Majestically, he made his way to his father who was already waiting for him at the front seat belonging to the royals of Azure Kingdom.
" Brother ! " he hadn't walked more than a few steps he was stopped by a loud voice. He stopped and turn back to look at his sister approaching him with a beautiful smile on her lovely face.
She was dressed in a beautiful long silver silk gown reaching to her toes. It was cinched to highlight her tiny waist and beautiful figure. Her dark hair was left free to cascade down her back to her waist. she had dark eyes, lips panted a deep shade of red set over a round face. she was beautiful.
" Nerida? You're back?. how are you? " he was surprised she made it for the auction. he had initially thought she'll only show up for the dinner.
" I'm fine, brother." she had worn a silver gown because she knows he liked silver but to her disappointment, he wasn't wearing that colour today. "can I sit with you?"
" Of course, Nerida " she immediately clung to his arm while the rest of the ladies watch on in jealousy. They couldn't even get close to him as they wish but here was Nerida, clinging to his arm like a leech. " How's mother? I thought you'll be staying there a little bit longer." Levi had a vague idea on why she must have rushed back but pretend otherwise.
They made their way to their seats. "mother is fine. Although she's still angry with father but she said she'll be coming to the Capital soon and of course I can't miss this auction most especially the banquet."
" Oh... okay. Hello Father " Levi hugged Rex and sat beside his father while Nerida also hugged Rex and sat down beside Levi who was sitting in the middle with his father.
" How's your mother, is she coming? " Rex asked expectantly he had missed his mate ever since she travelled to her kingdom with Nerida in anger. He hope she'll forgive him when she comes back.
"No. but she'll be coming back soon...she" Before Nerida could continue the Auctioneer had rang the bell for silence and begin the welcome speech...

Seated calmly amongst the crowd bidding for the items being auctioned off was a man, dressed in a rich beautiful purple robe. Noir had disguised as noble so he wouldn't be recognized by anyone.
To the people of Midgard, he is a mage and a wealthy merchant with a network of connections but nobody knows what other powers he truly owns.
