The effects of what happened to me earlier with Lorenzo's guest still lingered.
I'd never seen him that angry in all the time I'd been with him.
I understand that I'd disobeyed him and put myself in danger, but I didn't intend for that to happen.
"I should probably apologize to him."
Just as I was getting up to head to him, the door to my room swung open and Lorenzo strode in shutting the door behind him.
"Lorenzo, I'm really sorry."
He said nothing but grabbed my shoulders looking me up and down, his eyes searching for any other signs of visible injury.
"Lorenzo I'm sor-"
"I told you to stay in your room."
"I know, but-"
"But what?!"
"It was a simple instruction Len, stay in the room and don't come out, and even if you do, stay the fuck away from the living room."
"I-I"
"You what?!"
"You went to the one place I told you to stay away from Len, why are you so stubborn?!"
"You could have been raped!"
"Why am I so stubborn? Why am I so stubborn?!"
"You kidnapped me Lorenzo, you kidnapped be over some fleeting desire, derived from love at first sight."
"And you don't think I know I could've been raped, I know! I'm the one he was touching, I'm the on who felt his disgusting hands on me; Not you!"
"That wouldn't have happened if you didn't kidnap me!"
"Do you think I want to be here Lorenzo? Look in the fucking mirror, the only person enjoying this sick, twisted game you're playing is you."
"Len..."
"I don't want to be here Lorenzo, I feel trapped, I can't go anywhere, I can't do anything."
"But at least you are still alive."
"This isn't living Lorenzo, it's simply existing."
I wasn't certain if I was getting through to him, but I hoped I was, but then when I saw him sigh and pinch the bridge of his nose, I knew I was getting somewhere.
"Fine, you have one request, as long as it isn't to let you go, I'll fulfill it."
That wasn't much, but it was better than nothing.
"Okay then, I want to go to the park, I want to take a walk and get ice-cream."
"Let's go."
And so, the next thing I knew I was in Lorenzo's car as we drove towards the park.
I enjoyed my time there, taking in the sights and feeding the ducks, it was the closest I'd felt to free, since I'd met him.
But just as we were heading back towards the car, I heard Lorenzo curse as he pulled me down, so we were hiding behind the car.
"What's going on?" I asked fearfully.
Yet rather than answering me, he said;
"Stay here, do not move, do not get up, and if anyone approaches you, anyone at all, you shoot them with this, you understand me?"
Saying that, he shoved a Glock in my hand, and got up, then ran to the vehicle next to me which happened to be a van and hid behind it, then he brought out his own fire arm, and I could see him taking aim.
I glanced in the direction he was looking, and something strange began to happen.
One by one, some suspicious men in black began dropping to the ground like flies.
I looked back at Lorenzo, and then noticed that he had a silencer attached to his gun.
I signaled to him and half whispered half screamed.
"You killed them! Why are you killing them?! Stop killing them!"
"Shh!"
Then the person I assumed to be our attackers spoke, and they where referring to Lorenzo.
LORENZO
"You made a big mistake hurting one of our own Luca, doing that means declaring war against the Norge family, you shouldn't have done what you did."
"You're right, the gesture was nowhere near grand enough, I should've returned his head in a basket, that would've been way better."
"You see the think about you The Norge Family, is that you think too highly of yourself, you say I declared war on you the minute I touched one of your own?"
"Don't make me laugh, your family declared war on mine, the minute that sleazy bastard of a Norge, laid his hands on what was mine."
"I don't appreciate that, so I simply taught him a lesson."
"Now whilst this really has been fun, I will be taking my leave now, as I have a villa to return to."
As if on cue, Raphael appeared with triple the amount of men they had, as their men tried to fight of mine, I headed back to where I left Len, and guided her towards the car.
I got in, ignoring the chaos as it unfolded behind me.
As I drove of in silence, Len finally broke the silence by asking;
"Who were those men? What did you do?"
And so I explained everything to her, from the moment I caught Norge pinning her against the wall.
"So, you did all of that, because he touched me?"
"Yes."
"Just who are you"
"Lorenzo De Luca, owner and CEO of Luca Enterprises, and..."
"And?"
"And...Lorenzo De Luca, Mafia Don and, leader and representative of The Luca family, the biggest crime syndicate in all of Milan, a pleasure to officially meet you."
