Chapter 46 - Chapter Forty Six

~Rialorna caused it all~

"Are you suspecting Rialorna for having a hand in Lady Neev's disappearance?" Prince Alaric stepped forward.

Lansel's cold gaze raked over him.

"Is there something you can do if she's really the reason behind my lady's disappearance?" Lansel asked.

"You can't suspect my sister without a proof. It is an insult to the royal family" Prince Alaric stated firmly as he stood right in front of Lansel.

Lansel only smirked, a really sinister smirk.

"Don't interfere. I won't spare you if you're wrongly defending your sister" it was a warning but prince Alaric didn't seem to get it.

"We can help you search for your lady if you stop suspecting her"

"I don't need your bloody help!" Lansel was quick to retort. Prince Alaric gulped down nothing.

"But prince Lansel, we don't know anything about the missing lady. Right kids?" Queen Filanthi interfered once again.

Lansel nodded dangerously and turned to leave but was stopped by Rialorna's voice.

"Lady Neev was missing in the Moon Realm, you shouldn't have come searching for her in Elvkinles. We know nothing about it, my prince"

Prince Lansel smirked. That's what he's been waiting to hear. He slowly turned and strode towards her. Even his steps felt cold and freezing. Rialorna stated up at him, bravely.

"Where is she?" Was the first question prince Lansel asked her. Rialorna gasped. She wasn't expecting that. She shouldn't have said anything! She should have let him go!

Rialorna braced up and shook her head "I just said I don't know, my prince" her voice was slightly trembling as she tried to keep it low. Her heart was beating erratically.

"Where is she, Rialorna?" Lansel repeated the same question.

"My prince...."

"Don't make me loose it Rialorna! Tell me where the hell you took her!" Lansel added in the coldest of voice that it made her whimper in fear. His voice was smoldering with all the kinds of rage and coldness in the world. He was glaring down at her, locking her down in the spot and chilling her more than the freezing temperature.

"But prince Lansel..."

"Let her speak!" Queen Filanthi tried to interfere but Lansel cut her off coldly.

"Livius, do something!" Queen Filanthi whisper yelled.

King Livius stared at Rialorna in confusion. He knows Rialorna is the most daring one among his three daughters so, he won't be surprised if she did it. But also, he's scared of loosing her. If truly she's behind it, Lansel will not let her leave.

"Did you do it, Rialorna?" King Livius asked firmly.

Rialorna was quite for a while but she slowly nodded.

"Rialorna!?" Queen Filanthi called in shock.

"Why Ria?" Aleazea added, disappointment was clear in her voice.

"Spit it out, where's she?!" Livius asked again.

"I..I..I threw her into the flowing river and watched her fall down the waterfall" Rialorna stuttered, fiddling her dress.

When she's done talking, Lansel grabbed her neck, strangling her, squeezing the life out of her. Her legs were dangling in the air as she struggled to free herself from his tight grip, just the way she did Niamh.

"Prince Lansel please!... Ahhh..." Princess Gabriella tried to intervene but a force sent her flying meters away and she roughly hit her back on the wall.

"You're dead if I didn't find her" he gritted.

"Prince Lansel let's settled this matter in peace!" Queen Filanthi stated. Lansel roughly threw Rialorna away and she rolled on the floor before laying there, whimpering and crying.

"Peace? Which word is that?" He seemed to think for a while before locking his gaze back to the Queen. His brutally gorgeous face was hard and emotionless.

"If a single strand of her hair is hurt... downfall of Elvkinles" Lansel said and turned to leave but paused as if her remembered something.

He fixed his gaze on prince Alaric who was shivering like some sort of scared chicken. Suddenly, he started feeling some sort of weird pain in his head. He grabbed his head and groaned as Lansel boiled his intestines.

Just like that, Lansel turned and left.

"Prince Dionysios do something please" Queen Filanthi grabbed Dionysios' arm, staring at him pleadingly.

Dionysios stared at her and shook her head.

"I can't help when Rialorna caused this all" he said ever so calmly.

He then turned to Rialorna.

"You're the Prince's friend, you shouldn't have betrayed him a d hey someone close to him. I believe you must have known he won't take it lightly on you. Lansel is likely to kill you and there's nothing any of us can do about it" Dionysios added, his voice was serene as usual.

"Let's go Lucretzia" he gestured and they left.

Queen Filanthi fell on the floor crying.

"Mother!" Aleazea rushed to her side.

"All because of you Rialorna! How could you be so heartless!" Aleazea yelled.

"Lansel is mine and mine alone. I can't stand to see another lady close to him!" Rialorna yelled back in tears.

"You sound foolish, Ria!" Gabriella snapped.

"Not as if you like Neev either!" Rialorna retorted.

"Silence!" Prince Caesar, who acted like he wasn't there the whole time finally spoke and the whole hall went quite.

"Let's think of a way to solve this"
