In the midst of the conversation, the sound of footsteps echoed from the hallway. Victoria, Sophia's older sister but younger than Ethan, appeared in the doorway. She was still in her pajamas with messy hair. She looked around with a sleepy expression.
"What's going on here?" Victoria asked, her voice filled with curiosity and a hint of irritation.
Her mother turned to her with a reproachful look.
"Victoria, it's late and you're still in your pajamas. Why aren't you dressed?"
Victoria shrugged, seemingly unaffected by the reprimand.
"I heard shouting and wanted to know what was happening," she replied casually, leaning against the doorframe.
Their mother, frustrated both by the situation with Sophia and Victoria's carefree attitude, let out a sigh.
