Isabella hid her pain from Jeffery. Jeffery saw her exhaustion but she always assured him that it was because of the high demand of work and studies. After returning to the country she enrolled in a jewelry design course. Her designs were already good but she wanted more knowledge on designs especially from other countries all over the world.
She also started working in her company as a designer. Many of her designs were already featured in exhibits and famous shows.
Claire and Diana usually sneered at her because she was just a small designer with little achievements. Claire saw her as a gold digger who wanted her son's money and the prestige of the Simmons.
The Simmons were one of the richest families in city s. Their company signature Corp was a world know company with 3 billion assets. Her son Deamon had started his own company when he reached eighteen and now at 26 he was a billionaire. His company was worth 100 billion in assets making him one of the youngest billionaires worldwide.
Isabella was not worth her son. To Claire she wasn't even fit to carry her son's shoes. She tormented Isabella so that she can have a divorce and leave her son and family. Two days ago Claire harassed Isabella with her taunts but this time Isabella fought back. Claire was furious and she slapped her then pushed her down.
Isabella banged her head on the sharp edge of table. The table pierced her temple and there was so much blood. The butler called for an ambulance. By the time the ambulance arrived Isabella has already passed out. When Isabella regained her consciousness she was in the hospital. The wound was deep that she got stitched. The doctor assured her that the scar would fade with time as long as she takes good care of it.
After her parents death Isabella had turned to be a cold person. She only let herself feel loved from her grandparents and godfather. Deep down she longed for a loving family just like when her parents were alive.
Isabella finished her tea then went to bed. She sneered at her naivety this past two years. In the next two weeks she was going to take over her parents company and thus she was going to make her company rise into an international brand. She made up her mind not to let anyone undermine her again. She's going to take control of her life and won't let anyone close enough to hurt her again.Now she has to cut off relations with the Simmons. She's going to get divorced.
Early the next morning Isabella sent an email to Jake Deamon's assistant, with a divorce agreement. The man didn't even give her an contact information. After sending the email she applied for leave of absence from her work. Then she headed to the Simmons mansion. When Isabella arrived Claire and Diana were having tea in the lounge area. When Claire saw her she started her charades.
Claire: " You cheap girl why are you back here? If you think I'll allow you to stay here after speaking back at me then I'll be out of my mind. Go back to where you came from you piece of trash."
Diana was smiling at Isabella as if telling her she a delusional woman. Isabella sneered at her foolishness for subjecting herself to this two women. She looked at them coldly and turned to head upstairs to get her belongings.
