Im Jin-Ah walked through the hospital doors, out of breath as she ran from her house after hearing how her grandmother was attacked from another church-goer who was friends with her grandmother. Jin-Ah was still in her high school uniform of mainly black and a touch of red as she ran her hand through her long dark hair, removing the messy strands that covered her pretty facial features that weren't dulled by her fatigue and worry.
After inquiring about where her grandmother was situated from the receptionist, she quickly made her the second floor and found the room where she was currently in. She quickly opened the door expecting to see her grandmother in pain on the hospital bed, only to find lying there in laughter with a young man dressed in a black suit with long black hair that was tied into a low bun, sitting on a chair next to her. Upon seeing that she was okay, Jin-Ah let out a breath of relief and entered the room.
"Grandmother." Jin-Ah called out in a soft voice that had some worry in it. Her grandmother saw her and immediately smiled as she walked over. The man next to her stood up and looked at Jin-Ah who stared back at because he seemed very familiar but couldn't point him out.
"What? You don't recognise me?" The young man smiled and asked in a deep and familiar voice, which helped her remember immediately.
"Sun-jae?" She asked sceptically. The last she saw him was when he was still attending his first year of university and back then he was on the skinny side with his hair that was cut short on all sides except the front, in short he was tall and dorky.
"I told you, it's the hair, heh heh." The grandmother said with a bit of a delirious tone. Now that Jin-Ah was up close she could hear and see her grandmother better as she spotted the cast on her right arm.
"What happened to your arm?" She asked, sitting on the chair next to the I.V and grabbing her grandmother's shoulder.
"I'm okay. The doctor said it was just a fracture and a concussion. He gave me some medicine for the pain." Her grandmother explained in a groggy tone that indicated that the medicine was taking its effect. Jin-Ah turned to Sun-Jae to ask him about what happened and saw that his bottom lip had a red cut in the corner as he excused himself out of the room to take a phone call. Jin-Ah still couldn't process how much he had changed.
"Do you want to marry him?" Her grandmother asked Jin-Ah after catching her staring at him.
"What are you talking about, it's not like that." She replied in a panicked tone, softly smacking her grandmother's shoulder.
"What? He's handsome. Plenty of girls will be lining up for him, so you better snatch him first." Her grandmother said.
"Grandmother." Jin-Ah said in a shy and shocked tone, checking behind to see if Sun-Jae heard that, making her grandmother begin laughing and coughing multiple times followed by a wince of pain.
"Grandmother, what happened to your arm?" Jin-Ah asked worriedly.
"Nothing, it was an accident." Her grandmother lied, not wanting to worry Jin-Ah, which failed as she went quiet.
"Don't lie, grandmother. I heard from one of the ladies from church that you got attacked." Jin-Ah replied. Her voice was shaky and weak which was not how she usually spoke so her grandmother got worried.
"Jin-Ah no-" Her grandmother tried to speak when Jin-Ah suddenly spoke.
"It's him, isn't it?... He found us." Jin-Ah asked, getting no reply from her grandmother. Memories started resurfacing from the abuse that she and her grandmother endured from him and the loan sharks he avoided, causing them bruises and more pain. Jin-Ah's grandmother noticed that her hands were shaking and that she couldn't do anything.

Later in night at the police station. Sitting on her chair and staring at the whiteboard in front of her with all the information about the murder on the board.
"Do we really think that this person will do it again?" Tae-Soek asked, sipping his coffee.
"That's a fifty percent chance. We still don't know if it was revenge disguised as a twisted killing or if it's just the start of-" Yeon-Hee was cut off by Dae-Bom who opened the door quickly.
"The news. Check the news." He said in a fast manner as he was out of breath.
Tae-Seok stood up and went to fetch the remote, quickly turning on the TV and watching as UBS News gave their debriefing of the killing that happened this morning titled "A second 'Chrysanthemum Killer'?"
