Phasing in and out of consciousness from the bleeding injury on her forehead that was most likely a concussion, Jin-Ah woke up laying down on the wooden floor in the kitchen. Her hands and legs were tied up very tightly with a large bundle of rope as she tried to remove it but failed.
"Are you awake, you f**king b**ch?" A hazy and deep voice resounded from above her as she was suddenly grabbed by her tied up hands and made to sit up straight. Her eyesight slowly started to become clear as she saw the outline of a plumb man in a black attire kneeling in front of her.
"Did I hit you too hard on the head?... Ah, don't overreact, I haven't even started yet." The voice became clear as the figure soft slapped Jin-Ah multiple times.
Jin-Ah suddenly recoiled backwards onto the kitchen cupboards as soon as she saw her plump brother smiling at her with his yellow teeth. His face was dirty and haggard with the scratchy beard growing. There were also more tattoos around his neck along with some scars that seemed to be from knives.
"It's been a while. Did you miss me?" He asked, standing up straight as he turned to the table that had a black duffle bag on it. He walked over and opened it, taking out a thin metal rod with a rectangular shaped metal net on the end that looked like a fly swatter, as he pressed the button on the handle down.
Jin-Ah had already begun shaking as she looked around and spotted her grandmother laying on the floor with her hands tied up and her mouth sealed with tape as she made weak muffled noises.
"Grandmother, are you okay?!" Yeon-Hee called out with tears streaming down her face.
"She's okay, just a bit tired." Her brother said with a smile as he looked at Jin-Ah who was still looking at her grandmother. He sighed and looked at the metal rod.
"You don't believe me? Okay! Let me show you," He said, walking over to her grandmother and grabbing her wrinkled hand, showing to the rod to Jin-Ah as he added, "This thing f**king burns really good." He said as he pressed the net on the back of her grandmother's hand who immediately let out a muffled scream of agonising pain as the back of her hand began sizzling with smoke from the hot iron net.
"Stop it, you f**king bastard." Jin-Ah screamed at him as he removed the iron net, leaving behind a deep burn mark on her grandmother's shaking hand as he looked at Jin-Ah with a cross expression as stood up.
"How dare you f**king talk to me like that!" He yelled, letting out a barrages of violent stomps and kicks to her stomach while saying things like, "You bastard!" and "I bet you were the one who f**king called the cops on me! Huh! Huh!"
Eventually he stopped, leaving Jin-Ah coughing uncontrollably as he walked over to her grandmother and removed the tape on her mouth.
"S-Stop. Please stop." Jin-Ah's grandmother begged weakly, tears streaming down her face as she grabbed onto his black sweatpants. He swatted her hand away and knelt down next to her.
"Alright. I'll stop when you tell me who called the police. Then I'll stop after I kill that person." He replied, watching her grandmother cry.
"Stop." Jin-Ah's grandmother continued begging weakly as he ignored her pleas and walked over to Jin-Ah, grabbing her hand.
"Let's see if you'll tell me instead."He said, pressing the hot iron rod on Jin-Ah's palm with a sizzling burn that made her scream in agony.

Traffic was terrible as an accident occurred that stopped the flow of cars. Sun-Jae had been stuck in the same spot for eight minutes already. Jin-Ah's grandmother was not answering his calls which made him even more worried as he knew that he was not going to make it by vehicle, Sun-Jae made a choice and stepped out of the taxi and began running to Jin-Ah's home.
He took extra precaution and called Kang In-Hyuk and told him about the urgency of the situation before he ran full speed up the street.
