After the initial standstill had ended and the unknown observer revealed herself as a high school student. Yeon-Hee asked her questions about how the window had broken and if she saw anything else. The high school student had seen something, in fact she saw it as she recalled the details, even showing Yeon-Hee a recording.
It was around eight in the night as she went to the kitchen to get some water from the fridge when suddenly, a loud collision sound of dumpsters came from outside along with the heavy grunts of a man. The high school student got curious and went to the window at the back to observe what had happened and stumbled onto the sight of a fat man, presumed to be Kim Ho-Sung who was staggering and breathing heavily. "F**k... Come on, you bastard." He yelled as he turned around to where he came from and took out a brown-handled switchblade and raised it in level with his shoulder.
The high school student then pulled out her phone and played the video of what followed. It started with Kim Ho-Sung waiting in absolute silence for a few seconds under the soft light of the moon with the cold and chilling air, as the tall figure dressed in all black attire appeared walking confidently with his hands in his jacket pockets. The hood of his jacket hid his entire face as he stood still, looking down at the weak Kim Ho-Sung who was unknowingly stepping backwards in fear with his knife still raised and shaking. The figure, who was confirmed male, was slightly above a hundred and eighty centimetres in height, his shoulders were menacingly broad and firm along with his arms that were still in his pockets.
They both stood in complete silence again in the dark alley, watching another. "What?... Come here, you f**king b**ch." Kim Ho-Sung swore at the figure who tilted his head, staring at Kim Ho-Sung suddenly charging at him. He sidestepped the lousy knife attack, ducking under the next one and taking a long leap backwards, finally taking out his gloved hands and turning them into fists in level with his relaxed shoulders. He was like an intimidating dark boxing statue that had no face, not even moving as if waiting for Kim Ho-Sung to attack first, and he did.
Kim Ho-Sung charged again, but so did the hooded figure who threw a faster straight jab to Kim Ho-Sung's face, breaking his nose with a crunch as he fell to his knees on the rough ground with the knife rolling away on the floor after he dropped it. The last few seconds of the video showed the figure hovering over Kim Ho-Sung who was still clutching his bloody nose while whimpering, then it ended.
Yeon-Hee stood in silence next to the high school student, seemingly lost in thought.
'He's very athletic and well versed in boxing, in addition to being able to stay calm when faced with danger. Assuming he has a profession, he'd most likely go into fields such as martial arts or law enforcement, although I will have to wait and see.' She thought as the high school student suddenly gasped, frightening Yeon-Hee out her train of thought.
"Ah, I'm sorry," The high school student apologised with a slight bow after seeing Yeon-Hee's slightly annoyed face, "I almost forgot about it because I barely heard it, but the man in the video said something."
"What was it?" Yeon-Hee asked.
"The man on the floor asked "Why are you doing this?" and the other man in black replied with… "Repent for your sins." in a gruff voice." The high school student replied. Yeon-Hee thanked her and handed back the phone and walked back in silence.
'Repent for your sims? Did he punish Kim Ho-Sung for his crimes? That would explain the pictures.' Yeon-Hee thought, remembering a certain Bible verse as she recited it to herself.
"Fracture for fracture, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." Yeon-Hee softly muttered Leviticus 24:19–21, remembering how the torture methods used to kill him resembled those of his victims.
