**Bella's POV**
"Get him!" one of them shouts, and before Jameson can react, they descend on him like a pack of wolves.
Jameson chooses the hard way. He swears to Matt's men that he will not let me go and is going to defend both me and himself.
"Jameson!" I scream when the first punch lands on his jaw, a splatter of blood flying around him.
I continue screaming as they keep beating him, my voice piercing the silent night. My heart pounds in my chest, and I feel helpless, watching the man who saved me being brutalized.
"Stop! Please, stop!" I yell, my voice cracking with desperation. But my pleas fall on deaf ears. The men are relentless, their fists and boots raining down on Jameson, who tries to shield himself as best as he can.
