After a while, we both pulled back, gasping for air. "How come they didn't lock you up?" I asked him, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. "Truthfully, I don't know. I'm guessing it's because I sorta switched to the hero side." I considered this for a moment. "And, Shelby, about your other question." I looked up at him, giving him my full and undivided attention. He let out a breath. "You were out for two months." I blinked. "Your serious?" He nodded, and then gripped my hand, entwining our fingers together. "I came by everyday. Sometimes, I even stayed the night. I also watched you as you slept, unable to sleep myself, afraid that if I did, you'd die or someone would come after you again." Before I knew it, he pulled me into a hug, and I hugged him back with my free hand. "Who knew someone like you would have a softspot?" "...Fuck you." I smirked and pulled back. "When?" I teased, tracing my fingers up his chest. I was rewarded with a cute gasp of surprise and his pink face. "Very funny. It won't be happening anytime soon." I sat back, and pretended to pout, but he sat back with me. "Its cute when you pout like that." He said, reaching a hand up to play with my hair. "Shut up!" I told him, containing my blush. He chuckled. "Fine."

By the time Levi and Elizabeth came to visit, Connor was asleep beside me, our hands still connected, his other hand still knotted in my hair. "Hey, Shel!" Elizabeth greeted, smiling, and taking a seat on the chair. Levi glared at me, and I glared back, but he gave in, and sighed. "Don't scare me like that! Everyone thought you were on Deaths door." I smirked. "I will be one day."
