A few days later, I was cleared to go back to school, but before I knew it, our first break had come. I would be normally relished in the thought of living at my house again for the next few weeks, but honestly, I would kinda be bored. "Hey, babe, I've got a question." Connor told me, leaning on my dorm room doorway. "Shoot." I told him, making sure I'd gotten everything I'd need. "I was wondering, if you aren't busy this break, if you would like me to come home with you?" I looked back at him. "What about your-" "Family? Only family I have is my uncle and he doesn't do anything but beat me shitless." I went over to him, frowning with concern. "I'm sorry-I didn't know-" Connor patted my head with a sweet smile. A smile only I could drag out of him. "Don't be, it's not your fault, honey." I smiled fondly. This villain had a softside. "Then you can come home with me. I'd love it."

After the class had said goodbyes to everyone for the break, Connor and I were on my bike, ready to go to my place. "Make sure you get a good grip. I don't want my boyfriend to fly off." Connor wrapped his arms around my waist, the visor of his helmet down, covering his face. "Yeah, yeah, I got it. Are you ready, babe?" "Pff, I was born ready, love." And we were off, enjoying the ride to my house, containing our excitement from each other.
