Clarissa spent most of her time during the night in the pyramid planet. She even took a few things from the mansion in order to make the place more comfortable. Now she had a small mattress that was dumped in one of the unused bedrooms. She also got a blanket, one pillow and some utensils that she stole from the mansion.
She was now gaining more weight from all the food she's been taking from the kitchen when no one was watching. All she did was touch it and it would disappear into the tower.
Her skin was much healthier, smooth and fairer. This was due to her showering and drinking from her crate. She found out the magical properties in the water after waking up in smelly, black filth that is flushed out of her body.
The water was so magical that even her mind and soul was nourished. Her mind became clearer increasing her comprehension. After taking her medicinal concoctions her body was becoming stronger, healthier and plump. Though she was still thin it wasn't in the ghostly way anymore.
Clarissa was preparing herbs for a pill that could help her in the beginning of cultivation. From her acquired knowledge she discovered a pill that would enable her to absorb spiritual qi much faster but also give her a solid foundation in the qi realm.
There are five levels of cultivation: the qi realm, core realm, spirit realm, true immortal realm and DAO immortal realm. The qi realm has two levels: qi condensation and qi transformation each reaching the nine stages.
Clarissa had all ingredients which were tier one herbs. The problem was that she didn't have spiritual qi to make the pills. Good thing is she found a formula to make a concoction but she needed a tier three herb to be added in order for it to work. This herb, nine sun flower is a fire attribute herb which is a little bit mild but it wouldn't pose a threat because of the three clove lotus that would be a catalyst.
Clarissa planned to check in the medical garden in the mansion and if it's not there she'd go to the Divine pavilion to buy it.
Visitors from the capital city arrived at the governor's mansion. The commander together with his wife Gladys Brook and five children, three boys and two girls, went to the governor's mansion to receive guests. Meanwhile at Brook's mansion the commander's uncle, uncle Josh arrived. He was welcomed by the steward and taken to his courtyard.
News of uncle Josh arriving reached Clarissa's ear and she was excited because now she could formulate her plan to freedom. Clarissa went to the medicinal garden to help out with pruning out weeds.
After looking around for a few hours she started to give up but suddenly her intuition directed her to another section. This section was prohibited to enter because the quality of the herbs planted there was tier 3 and above.
Clarissa thought that she should just buy the herb because of the difficulty of acquiring it from the garden. When she was about to leave she was called by the head gardener. He asked her to work on the section with the tier 3 herbs. She quickly started working and soon found the nine sun flower together with other herbs that were of value.
