Clarissa went back to her room took the few dresses she was given yesterday. She put her things in her new traveling bag and then walked out. As she walked she heard about Gladys banishment. The maids recounted of the fight between Lucas and uncle Josh and how Gladys was crippled by uncle Josh. Clarissa felt her cold heart melt towards uncle Josh who fought for her.
As Clarissa walked through the corridor she heard a blood curling scream. She followed the voices and arrived at Donna's room. Two old men who were doctors were consulting each other on the side as two maids were picking up the scattered items in the room.
Donna was twitching on the bed making muffled sounds when the pain was too much she would scream like a pig being slaughtered.
Donna: " doctor, please can you.....try again....to speak to... grandmaster Josh.... He's an alchemist..... surely he has .....a...a way to help me."
One of the doctors turned to speak with Donna. He was the Brook's mansion doctor and also an alchemist. His attainment in alchemy was very low so he couldn't help Donna that much. He then consulted grandmaster Josh but was turned away by him. The doctor went to speak to the highest level alchemist in Triberias city.
The alchemists were ranked according to the level of the pills they could refine and they also raise their grade through knowledge and comprehension of the alchemy dao. Uncle Josh was a spirit grade alchemist. The alchemist in Triberias city was a heaven grade alchemist. There are nine grades of alchemist, common grade alchemist, earth grade alchemist, heaven grade alchemist, mysterious grade alchemist, spirit grade alchemist, saint grade alchemist, saint king grade alchemist, emperor grade alchemist, open heaven grade alchemist.
Doctor: " Miss Donna I've already tried inviting grandmaster Josh but he totally dismissed me after I finished explaining your situation. Even Master Arnold is here to check on you but their is nothing showing why your having this pain."
Donna heard from the maids of what had happened to Gladys. She didn't have much hope but she still tried to seek help from uncle Josh. Clarissa knew why Donna was in so much pain. She had created a poison that will disrupt the energy flow in the body.
The poison also destroys the nerves to withstand pain therefore magnifying the pain a hundred times.
When uncle Josh attacked Donna with spiritual energy he intensified the poison's ability. The poison is now wreaking havoc to her nerves and because her spiritual energy is in disarray the damage to her body is doubled. Clarissa didn't feel remorse for what see was going through for she had planned her death numerous times.
Clarissa turned away from the screaming Donna as she already knew that she was going to be crippled then paralyzed by the damage of the poison. Outside uncle Josh was waiting for Clarissa. A giant eagle, a tier 3 demonic beast was standing at the side as Lucas spoke to his uncle.
Lucas: " uncle, I apologize once more for what happened. After entertaining the visitors from the capital I'll make sure to put my home in order so that we can preserve the prestige of our family."
Uncle Josh: "Lucas remember to guard your home from anyone who'll want to destroy it. If you can't protect your family then what's the use of you protecting your country. Be wise my boy."
Lucas nodded at his uncle's parting words. At the corner of his eyes he saw a beautiful girl in red approach them. He could see how her body was so thin due to malnutrition. If she had better food she would have already been a shattering beauty.
Clarissa saw the handsome middle aged man talking to uncle Josh and guessed his identity. The previous Clarissa never met the commander. He had a blood thirsty aura around him that could terrify his enemies at a glance. Clarissa greeted the commander and after a few words uncle Josh took her and flew on the eagle then they took off.
