Lilith went home after getting dressed, and as soon as she stepped into her room, she began placing all of her clothes inside an empty box.
Lilith made certain that she left no single clothes behind. She placed all of her shoes into another little box before closing the door of her house with a contented smile.
As Lilith stepped out of the house, she was stunned to see her landlord who stood at the front of her door, a scowl attached to his face.
"Good afternoon." Lilith greeted while smiling and at the same time, she flustered her long lashes, knowing so well that her landlord was here to scold her.
Her house rent was due, and Lilith knew that she had to pay.
"Ohh! Good afternoon, my dear." He responded with a cheerful smile. "Who are you, by the way? And do you know the way to my house? He proceeded to question Lilith.
