"Woah! I had no clue you had the fortitude to utter such things, little mortal." Dracula murmured, his attention fixed on the road as he continued driving.
Lilith smirked. "Did you just compliment me?"
He scuffed, rolling his eyes at her absurd claim. "I didn't compliment you little mortal, and please stop striking up a conversation with me."
Lilith shook her head sideways and smacked her lips. "Am I turning you into a talkative?"
"You already know the answer so quit talking to me." He responded carefully, and his previously lighthearted expression returned to seriousness.
Lilith did what Dracula had requested and kept her mouth shut. She didn't ask him about where he was heading because she assumed that he was taking her over to his mansion.
The vehicle ride lasted more than thirty minutes, and Dracula ultimately pulled over in a large home with a large, gorgeous gate that surrounded the property.
