Electra fluttered her eyes open at the annoying sound and first scanned the unfamiliar room she found herself in. In just one second, the memories from the previous night flooded her head.
Marriage.
Ryker Cadel.
Mind-blowing sex.
She was alone in the flower-decorated room, assuming Ryker must have gone to work as she'd heard he was a workaholic. Her body was covered with a white duvet, and to be honest, she didn't feel like getting off the bed. But the annoying sound of her ringtone got her struggling to get up.
She peeked under the duvet and confirmed she was still naked before wrapping her body with it like a mummy and getting off the bed. She walked to the sofa at the corner of the room, where two suitcases, one containing her clothes and the other containing her now-husband's clothes, lay beside her purse.
She also noticed her wedding dress and Ryker Cadel's suit were no longer on the sofa.
