"This guy is a monster," said Elizabeth with a frown on her face.
"Yeah, he is," Charlotte nodded in agreement.
"You haven't told me, what happened to you? How did that guy save your life?" asked Charlotte with a curious expression.
"Those three bastards in my team forced themselves on me when we went out scavenging. I was forced to enter the territory of the cannibals in Southern Valley. I was going to be sacrificed to their god and eaten by them if not for the timely intervention of that guy, Kael. He massacred the entire village, saved me, and brought me safely back to the shelter," said Elizabeth with a blush on her face.
"What? He massacred an entire village? That's insane," Charlotte exclaimed, sitting up on the bed, sweat droplets forming on her forehead.
"We can only be friends to him, but not enemies," Charlotte murmured as she laid back on the bed.
Meanwhile, at Kael's temporary base...
Kael, who had been busy all night, slowly woke up and sat up on the bed. There were no young ladies around; he was naked. He went to the bathroom to freshen up, but in the middle of his bath, the water stopped coming from the tap.
"Shit!" Foam covered his head and body. He knew at that moment he was in trouble.
He jumped out of the window and asked, "Scan for a water body that's near me."
"It's good that there's no one roaming on the road; if not, I would have died of embarrassment," Kael remarked as he moved at full speed, the foam slowly clearing up on his body.
He reached the nearby water pond, cleaned his body, and dressed up before running back to his temporary base.
At the temporary base...
"Rita, Boss Kael wasn't in the room," Sita asked anxiously.
"Did you check the bathroom?" asked Rita.
"I did, it was empty," said Sita.
"Let's ask the kids if they saw him leaving the building," suggested Gita.
"Yeah, let's go," added Nita.
The young ladies walked to the main hall where the kids were having their breakfast.
"Has anyone seen Boss Kael?" asked Sita with a worried look on her face.
"Sister Sita, we haven't seen Boss Kael," said all the kids in unison.
Kael appeared behind the young ladies and signaled the kids to stay silent. He reached out his hand and pulled two young ladies to each side of him.
"Kya…"
The young ladies panicked but released a sigh of relief after seeing Kael's face.
"Okay, don't worry if I suddenly disappear like this in the future. It doesn't matter if I'm here or not; I'll be back very soon. Just be careful and stay safe while I'm away," said Kael while rubbing their plump hips.
Their faces turned beet red; they lowered their heads and nodded shyly.
"Kids who raised their hands, be quick and touch the zombie if you don't want to go back to your old days," said Kael with a stern gaze.
He then turned to look at the young ladies and said, "Okay, I'm going out. Don't know when I will come back. Here's the food and drinking water."
Kael had already bought a huge amount of instant noodles, bread packs, and drinking water bottles from the shop; now he was summoning them from his inventory.
"I have to find a few level 1 zombie leaders. I'm running low on points already," Kael murmured inwardly as he moved out of the building.
"Scan for level 1 zombie leaders nearby," Kael requested.
[Scanning is initiated…]
A small 3D projection appeared on top of his left hand, and waves of energy spread all over the project repeatedly.
[Three level 1 zombies are discovered.]
"Three? That's cool. I'm close to completing the mission to obtain my private island, sitting at the beach while holding beauties in my arms on either side. That kind of life is worth fighting for, even if it means putting our lives on the line," Kael murmured with an eager look on his face.
He entered the sewers and put a lighted helmet on his head.
"Now… now… where are my points?" Kael looked at the mini scanner and started walking in the path it was showing.
"Ribbit… ribbit… ribbit…"
"These frog sounds are way louder than they should be, right?" Kael thought while looking in the direction the sound was coming from.
One after another, three frogs appeared in front of him at lightning speed.
"Oh, these frogs sure are fast, but will they be faster than me?" Kael strained his legs a little and moved at lightning speed. The frogs moved their eyes to catch his movement, but they couldn't keep up with his speed.
A sword appeared in his hand as he moved towards the frog and aimed at its vital part. But when he stopped for a second to pierce the sword into its body, two other frogs immediately stretched their tongues and attacked him, aiming at his vital parts.
"Shit…" Kael was forced to dodge the incoming attacks aimed at his vital parts.
Dealing with a single zombified frog would be easy, but with two more, what was once an easy fight became very challenging. If he wasn't careful, he could lose his life.
Three frogs attacked him from all directions, forcing him to defend against one attack from the zombified frog.
Boom...
Taking the full blow of the attack, he felt like his ribs and hands were broken. He coughed up a few mouthfuls of blood and raised his hand to wipe the blood stains from his lips, glaring angrily at the frogs.
"It's been so long since I felt this kind of pain," Kael murmured while slowly walking out of the rubble.
Since he was injured, his movements became very slow compared to his peak state, and he started to sustain more injuries.
"Damn it, today either you three die or I die!" roared Kael angrily. Understanding the attack patterns of the zombified frogs, he dodged a few deadly attacks and tightened his grip on the sword.
Swoosh...
"Ribbit..."
A painful shriek escaped from one of the zombified frogs as Kael dodged the other incoming attacks.
Swoosh...
"Ribbit..."
Another painful shriek came from another zombified frog, and two long tongues twisted on the ground.
Without wasting a single second, he moved towards the heavily injured frogs and pierced the sword into their bodies, killing them with two piercing attacks.
