"Priscilla, son-in-law, get up. There is no need for formalities between us," the woman gently waved her hand, and the couple slowly rose to their feet.
"You imbecile, how long do you plan to hold my mother's thigh?" Priscilla shouted angrily, pointing her finger at Kael.
"Why are you shouting? It's not like I'm holding your thigh. It's her thigh, and it's up to her how long I hold it," Kael replied, flaring his nostrils.
"You…"
"Okay, okay, calm down," the woman waved her hand, and Kael was pushed away from her thigh.
The woman looked at her daughter and asked, "Why are you here?"
"Mother, I'm here for my daughter." Priscilla turned to her daughter and started reprimanding her, "How many times have I told you to stay in the palace? You don't know how dangerous it is outside our territory."
"I just went out to play. It's so suffocating and boring in our territory," said Isa, pouting.
"You are becoming unruly. From now on, until you turn 50 years old, you are not allowed to step out of the palace," Priscilla said, raising her voice.
"Hmm? 50 years old? What? Is she only allowed to leave the palace after she gets older?" Kael murmured inwardly, with a weird look on his face.
"System, can you tell me why this grandma doesn't look like a grandma?" asked Kael.
[Host, elves live more than 1,000 years and can maintain their youthful looks until they die. You can consider them as half-immortals.]
"What the heck? 1,000 years? For real? System, how can they survive for more than 1,000 years?" asked Kael, disbelief written all over his face.
[It's the nectar, also called the water of life, produced from the Tree of Life. Elves drink it to gain a lifespan of 1,000 years, but they can't extend their lifespan beyond that and must take the nectar regularly to maintain their youth.]
"Damn, these elves have a serious cheat," Kael murmured, envious as he looked at everyone in the room. As a human, he felt a great amount of injustice from what nature had given to humans compared to elves.
"Yeah, since the Envoy will be staying here, I'll play with him every day," said Isa as she ran to him and hugged his arm.
Kael looked at her and murmured inwardly, "How can you, little demon, be so shameless?"
"No!" the couple shouted in unison, looking at their daughter.
"Okay, okay. Isa, you go with your parents. I have to discuss important matters with the self-proclaimed Envoy of yours," said the woman while gently rubbing Isa's head.
Isa reluctantly nodded and moved toward her parents. The only person she obediently listens to is her grandma, no one else, not even her parents.
"Envoy, give me 1…5…10…lollipops," asked Isa, showing her three little chubby fingers to Kael.
Kael rolled his eyes at her calculation and threw three lollipops toward her.
She caught the lollipops with a bright smile on her face.
If Kael were alone with them, Priscilla would have dealt with him. But since her mother was present and wanted to talk with him privately, she had no choice but to go back to her room.
Outside in the corridor...
"What is that thing given by that outsider?" asked Priscilla with a stern gaze.
"It is called a lollipop. It was made by the goddess of nature," said Isa while unwrapping the cover of the lollipop.
"What nonsense are you talking about? How can that imbecile have things created by the great goddess of nature?" asked Priscilla, furrowing her brows. After a moment's pause, she continued with a mocking gaze on her face, "Hmph, what Envoy? He is just faking his identity. Watch how Mother will beat him to death and throw him out of our territory."
"Okay, give me one. I'll see if it's edible for kids or not," said Priscilla, extending her hand toward her daughter, who was holding the lollipops.
"Hmph, if you want one, you can ask him and get one for yourself. These are mine, and I'm not giving you any," said Isa, dodging her mother's hand.
"You little girl, you're becoming unbridled!" Priscilla said as mother and daughter began a Tom and Jerry chase.
Meanwhile, inside the room…
"Hmm, have you seen enough? Now can we talk about why you deceived my granddaughter and entered our territory?" asked the woman with a frown on her flawless face.
"Nope, let me look for a few more minutes," said Kael sincerely, unable to take his gaze away from her well-developed melons.
Her cheeks blushed at Kael's direct words.
"You're bold for an outsider. I'm curious—though you have no source of magic in your body, how can you use spatial magic effortlessly?" asked the woman with a curious look on her face.
"Spatial magic?" Kael paused to ponder and then asked, "You mean this?" A lollipop appeared in his hand.
The woman's eyes lit up brightly as she waved her hand. The lollipop flew to her, and she gracefully caught it, gently unwrapping the cover before putting it in her mouth.
"Yes, it is," the woman nodded her head while sucking on the lollipop with a contented look on her face.
"I don't know much about it, but I can use this spatial magic that you are talking about without much effort," said Kael, looking at her long legs.
"Wait, your legs look really sexy if you wear these leggings," two white stockings appeared in his hand, and the woman waved her hand, causing them to fly to her.
"Leggings? These pieces of clothes look peculiar. Can you teach me how to wear them?" asked the woman in a teasing tone.
Gulp…
"Sure," Kael held her smooth yet fair long legs in his hands, gently laying them one after another on his lap, then started to put on the leggings.
"Even though I feel a little uncomfortable wearing them, they look really nice on my legs," said the woman, gently caressing the leggings on her legs.
"How can you let everyone see your beautiful mel… Ahem, body? Here, try these lingerie. You look even more beautiful if you wear these pieces of clothes," said Kael, a white lingerie with elegant designs appearing in his hand. The woman waved her hand, and they flew to her.
