Chapter 42 - The deadly stares from the female elven guards are aimed at him

"Hello, Elven Queen. You can call me Kael. What's your name?" asked Kael with a curious look on his face.

"Kael, you have a really nice name. You can call me Mari," said Mari with a beautiful smile on her face.

Gulp…

He shook his head to erase the distracting thoughts in his mind.

"Mari, okay, what are we going to have for dinner?" asked Kael with a curious look on his face.

"Clap… Clap…"

A few maids, who were holding the plates, slowly walked into the dining hall.

One after another, the maids slowly placed the plates on the dining table. Kael, looking at the items on the plates, felt his eyes nearly pop out of their sockets.

"Are we eating these things for dinner?" asked Kael while pointing his finger at the fresh leaves, fruits, vegetables, and freshly dug out roots.

"What the fuck, do you think I'm some kind of sheep or goat to eat these things?" Kael cursed inwardly with an annoyed look on his face. He thought he was going to have a grand meal with various fruits, vegetables, and meat dishes, but what was in front of him was completely opposite to what he had imagined.

"Yes," the Elven Queen nodded her head with her lips curled up into a smile.

"No, I'm not eating these things. Maids, take everything on the table away," said Kael while looking at the maids.

The maids didn't do what he said. Instead, they all turned to look at the queen and followed his order only after she nodded her head at them.

The maids hurriedly moved closer to the dining table and took the plates away one after another.

"Mari, sorry for disturbing your daily routine. Tonight, dinner is on me," said Kael. He then summoned one dish after another. All the maids who had returned and the female guards, who were boiling with anger, were taken aback upon seeing the grand buffet on the dining table.

There were more than 20 varieties of meat dishes on the dining table. Kael sat back and started digging into the food. Mari sniffed the dishes that appeared in front of her, and her eyes lit up brightly. After hesitating for a moment, she also started digging in gracefully.

"These dishes are so tasty," exclaimed Mari while chewing the meat in her mouth. "He summoned these dishes using his spatial magic, right? How can these dishes still be hot and fresh?" Mari thought with a confused look on her face.

Since there were elves around her, she refrained from having further conversation with him and just concentrated on enjoying the meals on the dining table.

It didn't take long for them to finish everything on the dining table. Mari even burped with a contented smile on her face. Kael smiled brightly, looking at the satisfied look on her face.

"Mari, I will be leaving the elven territory for two to three days. I will be back to continue being your guest or the divine envoy sent by the goddess of nature," said Kael with a bright smile on his face.

"Haha, okay, I will be waiting for your return," said Mari and winked at Kael with a teasing smile.

Kael was mesmerized by her wink. It took him a few seconds to come back to his senses. He shook his head and said, "Okay, I will go now."

"Kael, wait. Thanks for the meal," said Mari with a grateful look on her face. She had really enjoyed every dish she ate at the dining table.

"There is no need for thanks between us," Kael said, winking back at her. She was taken aback, and a blush spread to her ears. It had been many years since someone had dared to interact with her so boldly.

When Kael reached the entrance of the dining hall, he was momentarily dazed, looking at the deep cleavage between two large melons. However, he quickly came to his senses when he felt the deadly stares aimed at him.

"What's wrong with these big melons and no brains? I just stared at their melons; do they have to react like I murdered their whole families in front of their eyes?" Kael thought inwardly and walked towards his guest room.

Mari covered her mouth to avoid laughing out loud after observing the brief interaction between her female guards and Kael.

Soon he reached the door and entered the room.

"System, teleport me back," asked Kael.

[Instant teleportation is initiated…]

Kael disappeared from the room and reappeared in the Apocalyptic World.

The moment he stepped into the Apocalyptic World, he took a deep breath and murmured, "The feeling of having power is addictive. It's really suffocating to live on that island without the company of those melons… ahem, elves."

He had been away for more than a day from the orphans and ladies, so he concentrated all the strength in his body into his legs and moved towards the temporary base.

After an hour, he came close to the entrance of the temporary base.

Knock… Knock…

One of the orphan kids looked out of the window from the first floor and immediately asked the kid who was guarding the door to open it after confirming it was Kael.

All the kids hurriedly stood in a line and started welcoming Kael back home with respectful looks on their faces.

Kael nodded his head and moved towards the main hall, where the ladies were sitting on the sofa, chatting with each other with worried looks on their faces.

Thump….thump….

The moment they heard the footsteps, all of them turned to look at the entrance of the main hall in unison.

All four of them were petrified on the spot when they saw Kael. He just stood there, extending his hands with a gentle smile on his face.

He had also missed these four ladies, who were his first women and had taken his virginity.

They all ran to him and hugged him like koalas. He smiled brightly and started rubbing their backs. Their faces blushed to their ears the moment they felt his touch.

"Okay... okay... calm down, all of you. How have you been while I was away?" Kael asked in a teasing tone, pinching their hips.

"We... we were all worried about your safety," said all the ladies in unison, burying their heads in his chest.
