Allie turned around and saw Lyla Ferrer. She had never met the woman before, but she knew how she looked from the few pictures she found on the internet.
Lyla Ferrer was a beautiful young woman. She wore simple clothes and wasn't wearing makeup. Allie thought that this might be the reason why Evan Mori wanted her as his wife. As Evan said, he didn't need a rich wife. He just needed a doll for a wife, someone who would look pretty beside him. Certainly, Lyla was pretty enough for that.
"She came here looking for you, Lyla," informed the caretaker. "Let me get the food so you two can talk."
Lyla gave the boxes of pizza to the caretaker and smiled at Allie.
When they were left alone, Lyla asked, "Is there something I can help you with? We haven't met before, have we?"
"Yes, but I know you." Allie smiled curtly. To gain the woman's approval, she needed to look friendly and harmless. "I am Allison Gray. I work for Lotus Tech."
