"That happened?"
Chloe was shocked when she heard from Allie what happened on the island. She came to Allie's place while she was packing her things, and they ended up talking about it.
"Something is off about that guy. You better be extra careful, Allie."
Chloe looked very worried. She was pacing back and forth in Allie's room.
"Or maybe we are overthinking?" she said after a moment, thoughtful. "Bigshots like him must learn how to defend themselves. Shooting is one of the rich men's sports. And maybe those weapons are just his collection. After all, he is filthy rich. He needs impenetrable protection from his enemies."
"I'm not sure, Chloe. When I conducted a thorough investigation of him back then, I didn't find anything shady with his activities, so I took the job Redlip offered. He seemed to be an ordinary filthy rich businessman. But we don't know, he's in the world of technology. Maybe he has his own ways of hiding his dirty deeds."
