Sat alone in a small room surrounded by guards, Milo found himself with his hands tightly tied behind his back, face to face with the King who looked at him with such contempt that Milo began to doubt if this really was the man he knew.
The King crossed his arms and lounged back into his chair, "What are you?", he asked, prompting Milo to let out another heavy sigh.
"What do you mean?", Milo replied, feigning the best surprised look he could muster.
It hadn't taken long for Milo to get caught by the King. As soon as he was taken back to the castle, his brief chat with Renny and Marcos only served to buy him a few minutes of time due to Agaris' bout. As soon as that subsided, Milo was quickly retrieved by a guard and taken down a damp stairwell and into this room.
It was nice that he wasn't immediately killed, but he didn't understand why exactly they were interrogating him.
