"Was that smart Milo?", Renny asked, pushing Milo through the halls after Marcos ran away.
"Was what smart?", Milo responded, struggling to understand what Renny was asking him.
Renny looked at the back of Milo's head as they turned into the throne room where the King was already waiting for them, alongside his wife and daughter. "Well, you know, sending Marcos to ask that woman. There is no guarantee she is interested in him".
Renny stopped Milo just in front of the King, instead of speaking to the King, Milo responded to Renny, "It's a gamble. Multiple gambles in fact. First, we are gambling on the woman's interest in Marcos, then we are gambling on Marcos being able to tolerate being alone for even a moment and finally we are gambling on the hope that she trusts Marcos enough after a small moment to disclose as much information about James as she can".
