Synopsis

Introduction

Hello Readers, here are some terms that I'll be using throughout the novel since it's based in China~

A' (prefix): Added before someone's name to show closeness. [Example: If someone's name is Hai, people close to them will call them "A'Hai".]

'Er (suffix): Added after someone's name to show closeness. The direct meaning is "son/child", but can be used for anyone. [Example: If someone's name is Hong, people close to them will call them "Hong'Er".]

Lao: Means 'Old'. Can be used to show closeness. [Example: Lao Xing.]

Xiao: Means 'Young/Small'. Can be used to show closeness. [Example: Xiao Qiang.]

Doubling Someone's Name: Shows closeness. [Example: If someone's name is Wang Ling, people close to them will call them "LingLing/WangWang."]

(Any other terms that I use will be marked in the paragraph comments!)

Thank you for reading~
