[4: Paternal Test]
- Aushi's POV -
"Why do you need to undergo a paternity test? It's obvious that you're my child," Aushi said, but I just ignored him.
Mommy was messaging me. I sneaked out of school earlier just to meet this Aushi.
We are currently outside the laboratory waiting for the result.
"I need to make sure. I can't make a mistake just because I was too careless," I retorted irritably, and he hugged me.
"My son is so smart!" he exclaimed, and I immediately pulled away from him.
This creepy old man. I'm still not sure if he's my father, and he's already calling me 'son'.
I stood up from my seat as the doctor emerged from the laboratory.
"President Han, here's the result," the doctor said, about to hand the paper to Aushi, but I grabbed it immediately.
'Probability of Paternity: 99.999998%'
This old man is really my father.
"You are really my father," I said, and his face brightened as he hugged me.
What the... I'm already a big boy. Only my beloved mother can carry me!
"I knew it. You are really my son! Can you tell me your home address? I want to see my wife..." he said, and I furrowed my brow.
Wife? Is he referring to my beloved Mommy?
"Hey old man, what 'wife' are you talking about? My beloved Mommy is only mine! I'm gonna marry her when I grow up!" I shouted at him, and he just laughed.
Just moments ago, he was so strict and serious, and now he's hugging me like a child.
I leaped to escape from his embrace. I faced him and looked at him closely.
It can't be helped though. This man is my dad. He gave me life. If I want to make my beloved Mommy happy, then I should help Aushi to chase after her.
I don't want to be rude to my own dad, but he has been missing for many years. I can't trust him just because he's my father.
"Listen, old man. I haven't accepted you as my dad yet. You left Mommy with many responsibilities and hardships. You need to feel Mommy's pain. You need to make up for all the years that you were gone if you want us to be a happy family. If my beloved Mommy accepts you, then I will accept you too!" I said, and he smiled at me.
He patted my head and kissed my forehead.
"It's good that you're protecting your Mom. I promise to do everything I can so she can accept me!" he said, raising one hand as if making a vow.
He looks sincere. It seems that he already likes my beloved Mommy. So for now, he can just chase after my Mom.
"My Mommy is working as an actress now. It's not impossible that she will fall in love with her co-actor, so you should keep an eye on her," I threatened him.
Of course, my beloved Mommy is pretty, and many guys like her. But she doesn't pay attention to them because she said I'm her priority.
But my father is here now, so it's not a problem anymore.
If my Mommy starts to like someone else, I won't force Aushi on her. But there's something inside me that still wants our family to be whole. My beloved Mommy has already experienced so much pain; she deserves someone who will love her forever.
Even though I act mature and cool, I'm still a kid who wants to be cherished and loved by my own parents.
"So, work hard... Daddy!"
