Chapter 11 - 10

- Alisha's POV -

I removed the makeup from my face because our shooting was done.

"Ma'am Ali! Kleo is here. I feel like she wants to come back as the second lead!" Lily said breathlessly.

She attended after I got the role. Of course, she wants the role back.

I smiled at Lily as I tied my hair. I'm used to these kinds of situations. It doesn't affect me that much, but it's still a shame to lose the role.

"Let's go outside; they might think I'm bitter if I don't come out to greet her." I said with a smile. Lily nodded and opened the dressing room door.

When we stepped out, I immediately saw Kleo Garcia, with her manager. She looks more beautiful in person than on television; it's my first time seeing her.

"Director Lee, sorry! I've been really busy, but I'm here now to shoot my scenes!" Kleo said.

"Good. This will be aired on national television, so we can't postpone shooting!" Director Lee replied, and Kleo nodded.

Kleo seems nice. I'm back to being a supporting role. I straightened up when Director Lee approached me.

"Sorry about that. Kleo has a strong support system, so we didn't dare to offend her." Director Lee whispered to me.

"But I have an offer for you that's even better than a supporting role."

My face lit up at his words. What role is it?

"What role?" I asked him.

"Villain."

I was stunned by what he said. I was about to speak, but Director Lee turned away from me. I've never played a villain before. It's actually my dream role because I like daring characters.

In this series, the villainess falls in love with the male lead, played by Dustin. I thought I was lucky to escape that burden. But I can't waste this opportunity. I need to do my best!

"Hi! Alisha, right? I'm Kleo Garcia! Thank you for taking my place while I was gone." Kleo said with a smile as she suddenly appeared beside me.

I don't know, but her tone sounded sarcastic.

"You're welcome." I replied awkwardly.

"Kleo, what are you doing? Don't talk to someone below your level. Stop talking to low-class people." her manager interrupted, and Kleo laughed.

"Don't be too harsh, Manager. Others might think we're too arrogant." Kleo replied before giving me another look and rolling her eyes.

After all, it was all an act. Another angel-faced b*tch.

I rolled my eyes and walked away from them. Why does everyone seem to be angry at me? I'm nice, you know!

"Waaaah Ali! I finally caught you!" Dustin nearly startled me when he suddenly hugged me.

As I mentioned, he has the main role, so he usually comes home later than me.

"Why are you here? Are you done shooting too?" I asked him, and he nodded.

"Let's go home together. I'll drop you off at your apartment." he offered, grabbing my bag.

I haven't even agreed yet. Don't I have the right to refuse? Well, my feet hurt a bit.

We got into his car, and he started driving.

Wait a minute...

He doesn't know that we've moved in with Alas! And he shouldn't find out that we've moved into Aushi's mansion!

"Uh, Dustin, can you drop me off at Rose Street, Han Mansion? Alas has a group study there, and I have to pick him up." I made up an excuse, and he nodded.

When we arrived at the mansion, I got out of his car. I even saw him peeking inside the mansion.

"I didn't know that Alas' classmates were this wealthy. And I didn't hear that the owner of Han Company has a child." he said.

Oh no, he is getting the wrong idea.

"He doesn't have a child! It's just that, he lent their house as a study group area for the kids. It's like a charity act!" I quickly made up an excuse.

Even though he seemed confused, he nodded.

"Should I wait for you and Alas?" he asked me, and I shook my head.

He needs to leave quickly.

"No, Alas seems like he'll be staying longer. We'll just take a taxi home to be safe." I replied.

"Okay. Let's have dinner sometime, with Alas! Take care!" he reminded me before speeding off in his car.

Gosh, I'm glad he's gone. I sighed before entering the mansion. It's still early, so maybe I can catch Alas awake. I've been quite busy lately, so I haven't been able to spend much time with him.

Whenever I get home, he's usually already asleep. Then in the morning, he's the one leaving for school.

"Who dropped you off?"

I almost jumped in surprise when someone spoke behind me. I turned around and saw Aushi with his secretary.

"Uh... a colleague. He offered me a ride." I replied.

There was a deafening silence between us before he spoke.

"Drake, buy a car for Alisha." he ordered his secretary.

"Yes, President!"

I furrowed my brows at what I heard.

"W-wait! I don't need a car." I protested to Drake.

He stopped pressing the buttons on his phone.

"Drake, buy it." Aushi ordered again.

Drake then pressed a button on his phone.

"Done, Sir."

Aushi walked towards me with a sharp gaze. There's a dark aura surrounding him.

"Never accept a ride from him again. You now have your own car and a more handsome driver." he said while pointing at himself.

Huh?! Is he planning to drive me to and from work?!
