Chapter 4 - 3

[3: Wife And Son]

- Aushi's POV -

"Henry, give me more information about the girl I met at the airport earlier," I said on the other line of the call.

My gut is telling me that she is the girl I've been looking for these past five years. The only girl who made me feel something for the first time.

Her face, her gestures, and her body... everything about her is so familiar to me.

"Yes, President. Noted!" he replied, and I ended the call.

"President Han!"

My secretary, Drake, greeted me as I arrived back in the Philippines from Russia.

What are they yelling about?

"What? You look pale."

"President Han, our system has been hacked!" he said, and I sighed.

So what? Why should I bother with a hacker?

"Then find someone who can fix it," I told him, and he looked nervous.

Why are they making such a big deal out of a hacker? This isn't the first time our system has been hacked.

"Sir, we already hired the best decoders, but they couldn't decrypt the virus the hacker used," Drake said, furrowing his brow.

Is the hacker really that skilled? And we've improved our security system since it was last hacked two years ago.

"Get the car ready. We're going to the company," I instructed Drake, and he nodded.

Who is this hacker? Besides me, who could possibly be skilled enough to hack our system? I've already implemented high-security measures, but how did this hacker manage to infect it with a virus?

When we arrived at the company, the situation was worse than I expected.

Every laptop was displaying this message...

"Aushi Han, let's meet at Genoa Restaurant. Tomorrow morning, 8:00 am sharp!"

This person has the audacity to order me around.

"Drake, give me my laptop," I commanded, and he complied.

As he handed me my laptop, I began decoding the codes. The hacker used very long and complex codes. It took me an hour to remove the virus from the system.

I glanced at the clock, and it was almost 8:00 am.

"Drake, prepare the car. We will go to Genoa Restaurant," I said.

"Sir, are you really going to meet the hacker? Didn't you already remove the virus from the system? And what if this is a trap?" Drake asked, concerned.

"Maybe he can do what he did again. And if he wants to see me, why not? Deploy 15 bodyguards to accompany us," I instructed him, and he nodded.

We got into the car, and Drake drove us to Genoa Restaurant.

"Tell the owner to clear the restaurant and not let anyone in for now," I told Drake, and he nodded.

He called the owner, and people started leaving the restaurant. My bodyguards were stationed at the door.

When it was 8:00 am, there was still no sign of anyone arriving.

Isn't he coming? Is he wasting my time?

"Don't stop me! Let me in!" someone shouted, and Drake and I turned to see a young boy.

"Drake, check the scene," I ordered Drake.

"Yes, President!" he replied and went to the door.

He came back to me shortly. I frowned at him.

"Sir, the boy you helped at the airport yesterday is insisting on coming in!" he reported.

Ah, the smart kid who looks exactly like me? What is he doing here? Is he with his mom?

"Let him in," I instructed Drake.

I don't know why, but I have a good feeling about that child. He's smart and sharp-tongued, a refreshing characteristic for a kid.

The boy entered, still wearing his school uniform and carrying a bag.

He sat down in front of me, brimming with confidence.

"Why are you here? Are you lost?" I asked him, and he shook his head.

Now that I can look at him closely, he really looks like me. Someone might mistake him as my son.

"I am not. I'm Alas Arcena, the one who hacked your company's system," he said.

What?

This kid? Hack our system? And his surname is 'Arcena,' which is also a rich company.

"President, maybe the boy is just fooling you. Maybe he's the son of the person who hacked our system!" Drake interjected.

That's possible. Many people use children as scapegoats.

"Did your Mom send you here? Is she the one who hacked the system?! Say the truth, I hate it when someone lies," I said to him, and he remained unfazed.

He was just staring at me, maintaining his calm posture. This kid has some business potential when he grows up. He doesn't easily panic.

"I'm saying the truth. My beloved Mommy has nothing to do with this," he calmly replied, taking out his laptop from his bag.

"If you still don't believe me, I can hack your system again," he added, doing something on his computer.

After a few minutes, Drake received a call and whispered something to me.

"President, our system has been hacked again. It seems he really is the one who hacked our system," Drake informed me.

I sat up straight, staring at Alas.

How can a kid hack a high-security computer system?! I mean, I saw everything unfold in front of me. But that sounds too impossible.

A genius, maybe? His poise, words, and actions are too mature for a kid.

"I believe you now, so decode the virus," I instructed him, and he nodded.

"I will decode it after I get what I want," he said.

This kid is already a businessman. But he is hard to please. He's too smart for his own good.

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"I want you to take a paternal test with me. I am certain that you were the man that left my Mom and let her raise me all alone," he said, furrowing my brow.

Paternal Test?! Left his mom?!

Does he think I'm his dad?! It's impossible. I don't sleep around with women!

But come to think of it, five years ago, I slept with a girl. I was drunk that time. I had a business meeting, so I left her for hours, and when I came back, she was already gone. She was drugged back then, and I was drunk, so I couldn't control myself. Who knows if I was also drugged at that time? I tried so hard to find her, but there was no CCTV camera in that hotel, they couldn't find her. I have been looking for her for the past five years; I thought she might have migrate to other country because looks like she came from a rich family.

What if that girl got pregnant? Is she really the one I've been searching for? That's why she looked so familiar?

If what he's saying is true, he should be five years old, right?

"How old are you?" I asked him.

I was sweating as I waited for his answer. For the first time, I lost my calm composure.

"I'm five years old already!"

I stood up from my chair at his answer. A paternal test is no longer needed to find out what he wants to know. First of all, we look alike. Secondly, he is also a genius in computers, which he probably inherited from me. Thirdly, he is also arrogant and short-tempered, just like me! Well, I guess that is not something I should say loud and proud, but still!

This kid... is he really my son?!

I am a Dad!

That means, his mom is really the girl I've been looking for after five years...

My wife.
