Sixty-Eight:
Rooftop
As she turned around, I clearly saw how shocked she is when I just suddenly pop out unnoticed that made her speechless and begins to look pale. And seeing her like that really worries me a lot.
Although I stop myself hugging her instead I hold her hand as quickly as I can and stay cool as I said. "Hey! Relax!"
Silence. I know and so sure, she felt the same, the warmth from her hand made me feel at ease and for some reason, a glimpse of truth suddenly showed up.
'Now I know.' I said to myself as I finally released her hand and said. "Are you done with your survey?" I joked only to hide the truth about what I discovered.
'What!? I'm… no!' She shouted to herself that I almost wanted to laugh but I stop myself. "Why did you follow me?" She seriously asked trying to hide what she truly feels.
"Worry about you." I simply answered.
Jeanne is a bit stunned from what I answered. "Al-alright." She stammered a little. "Anyway, I'm sorry if interrupted your meeting I just––"
"Are you sure this is normal?" I asked her straight because I don't have much time to go on circle I need to stop this illusion.
"Pardon?"
I walk passed through her before I answered. "Realmente no recuerdas cómo llegaste a este lugar?" I seriously asked and I knew she clearly understand what I said.

I immediately turned to him and I felt a mixture of trepidation when I saw a vague figure behind him. I don't know and not so sure of what I saw but then it was gone immediately and I only see him standing alone in a view of blue sky.
'Did I saw it right?' I silently asked but then I just ignore and answered his question or rather, about how he manages to speak in a different language. "I never knew you can speak Spanish."
"Answer my question." He firmly stated which kind of surprised me because I can feel how serious he is to answer his question.
"I came from…" unexpectedly, my mind just block out.
"You cannot answer my simple question when you feel this is your normal life."
"What are you talking about?" because really, I don't have any idea of what 'normal life' he was saying.
"Try to remember. Don't let these whole place eats you." He said and was about to leave when I stop him.
"What do you mean? Try to remember? Why did I forget? Of what?"
He seriously stares at me. "Seriously, Jeanne. You have to wake up or else this whole pla… no! This whole illusion will send you to your end."
"I-illusion?! What are you talking about?! Or are you crazy enough to think––"
"Zbudi se, Jeanne!" he firmly stated. "This isn't your NORMAL world! So, please! I beg you! Find––"
He was suddenly cut off when he waves like an ocean in front of me and because I couldn't react, I was just transported inside our room and sitting at my chair while looking straight at Chadd.

"Darn it!" I cursed out loud as soon as Jeanne just vanished in front of me.
"As I told you, he will not allow the two of you to return to your reality." Sylvia suddenly came out of nowhere.
"Where have you been?!" I madly asked.
"Don't get mad at me, I'm not the responsible one who made these things to both of you."
"Sorry." I immediately apologize. "It's just that… I don't know why he was doing this to us."
"Maybe because, you two cause something dangerous that he wanted to prevent."
"And what is that?"
"I don't know."
I take a very deep breath and harshly breathed afterwards. The frustration that I felt is too unbearable but what else can I do if the man that we are talking is one of the Gods. And he is no other than…

Present
Ninth Kingdom
The door of the living room suddenly burst open and the one who is responsible of it was Dione and she came urgently with a serious face.
"Where is God Kamali, Angel Zamariel?" she seriously and directly asked him.
"What's the matter, Dione?" Ilmatar asked.
"That is what I wanted to know, too, Ilmatar. What have you done, God Kamali?"
"He's not here." Zamariel answered.
Dione formed a half smile. "No, he's here. So, come out now, God Kamali before I send here my own army just to find Almos and Jeanne." She seriously threatened.
"Calm down, Dione." Suddenly Kamali emerged from the thin air and landed on the ground with ease. "You don't have to use such measure just to make me show up."
"Then, you wouldn't come out if I didn't say that, right?"
"Well," he shrugs off. "Anyway, what do you want from me?"
"God of Nightmares." She answered.
"What about him?"
"Don't play a fool, Kamali. You know what he did."
"What do you mean, Dione?" Ilmatar curiously asked.
"He's the only one responsible for Almos and Jeanne being trapped in the Dream of Illusion."
"God Epiales." Kamali spoke his name out loud and from nowhere suddenly he emerges.
"What an honor to be called by God Kamali."
"No more pleasantries Epiales," he answered. "Is it true that Almos and Jeanne was trap into the Dream of Illusion?"
"Why ask? You all knew what they did to my realm."
"It doesn't count!" it was Asim who answered. "Because it is Azazel doing."
"I know."
"Release them." Kamali ordered.
"I can't." he honestly answered. "Because their illusions already on going."
"No! We need to do something!" Asim worriedly said.
"You can't do anything." Epiales answered.
"Why?"
"Because it will only put them in danger if someone will force them to go back to their reality."
"What––"
"Stop it Asim." Kamali quickly interrupted him. "Because he was right, we couldn't do anything unless they succeed to go back to reality on their own."
