Bjorn's consciousness returned slowly, his mind foggy and disoriented. He found himself in a dimly lit chamber, surrounded by the same coffins he had seen earlier. Kael stood over him, his eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity.
"Welcome back, Bjorn," Kael said, his voice low and mysterious. "You've been asleep for a long time. It's time to wake up and face the truth."
Bjorn struggled to sit up, his body feeling heavy and weak. Kael offered him a hand, pulling him up with ease. Bjorn's mind raced, trying to remember what had happened. The last thing he remembered was Kael's confession, and then...nothing.
"What did you do to me?" Bjorn demanded, his voice shaking with anger and fear.
Kael's smile was enigmatic. "I showed you the truth, Bjorn. You just weren't ready to see it."
As Bjorn looked around the chamber, he noticed something strange. The coffins were open, and inside each one lay a figure, pale and still. Bjorn's heart raced as he realized who they were.
"Those are the others, aren't they?" he whispered. "The ones you turned before me."
Kael nodded. "They were the first. The prototypes. And you, Bjorn, are the final product."
Bjorn's mind reeled as he tried to comprehend what Kael was saying. "What do you mean?"
Kael's eyes seemed to bore into Bjorn's soul. "You're the key, Bjorn. The key to our survival. Our future."
Suddenly, the chamber began to shake, and the coffins started to open. The figures inside sat up, their eyes glowing with an unnatural light. Bjorn stumbled back, horror creeping up his spine.
"Who are they?" he whispered.
Kael's voice was cold. "They're the ones who came before. The ones who failed. And you, Bjorn, are the last chance for our kind."
As the figures began to move towards him, Bjorn realized the truth. He was trapped in a world of vampires, and he was the only one who could save them. But from what?
