Rubeus Hagrid POV

When the food truck arrived, everyone bought something. I bought 4 chocolate cauldrons, 3 packs of Bertie Botts beans in every flavor, and 3 packs of chocolate frogs. When I sat down, I looked at the four people who were looking at me with surprise and laughed.

"Don't look at me like that, I'm bigger than all of you so I need to eat more than all of you."

The four nodded like cuckoos. They weren't wrong to be surprised; I wasn't close to anyone before and I bought more snacks than the four of them combined. While I was eating Bertie Botts beans of all flavors, Faye suddenly jumped out of my pocket, grabbed a few beans, and began eating them quickly as if I were going to take them from her.

When I looked up, I saw the four staring at me in surprise, Anna Bones - she looked like the description of Susan Bones in the books. Dark red hair, high cheekbones, and she had already developed an hourglass figure, perhaps because girls mature earlier or because she started Hogwarts late due to her birthday.- She was the first one to snap out of her surprise.

And he began to speak quickly.

"Is this a Bowtruckle? "I thought it was forbidden to bring any animals to school other than those written in the letter."

Rubeus: "Yes, this is a bowtruck and it is free to bring other animals if the head of the house allows. Professor Dumbledore told me it would be okay if I brought it."

Fawley "Cool, but you gotta be careful bowtruckles are still xx-rated magical creatures and I heard they like to gouge people's eyes out." If he hurts someone, you could get in trouble."

Rubeus "No need to worry, bowtruckles are quite docile unless the trees they were born in or themselves are threatened. The tree he was born in is a long way from Hogwarts, and with me, no one can truly threaten him."

Carrow looked at me once more and said, "Well, you're right about that. "I don't think anyone at school would want to disturb you on purpose."

,

At this moment, Faye was trying to spit out the last bean she had eaten and clean her tongue and mouth with her hands, as if she wanted to remove the taste from her mouth with her claws.

Seeing Faye in this state, Crouch laughed.

Crouch: "I wonder what flavor of beans came that caused such a reaction. Also, I thought bowtruckles could only feed on woodlice and other insects. "Don't let the beans hurt him."

"Faye has eaten a lot of things that other bowtruckles haven't eaten before and nothing happened," Rubeus said. However, I will go to Professor Kettleburn tomorrow and ask. I hope he doesn't hurt her."

We continued to spend time talking about things like next year's classes and quidditch. A few hours later, as it started to get dark, a prefect came and said that we were approaching Hogsmeade station and that we should start changing.

After a while

Sitting under the ceiling of the large hall, which was enchanted to resemble the sky, I was impatiently waiting for the sorting to end and to start eating. Meanwhile, Professor Dumbledore entered with a group of first-year students behind him. There were about 100 students. More than I remembered from the Harry Potter series, either this world was different from the original story or Voldemort and the death eaters had done more damage to magical Britain than I thought. When I thought of Riddle, I looked at the Slytherin table and saw him there. I didn't know what to expect, but when I saw how different magical Britain was from the one described in the books and movies, I hoped I wouldn't see him there even for a moment, but there he was, the future lord Voldemort, Tom Marvalo Riddle. Sitting with his friends, or should I say followers. He was chatting with a smile on his face.

Thoughtfully, I turned my head to the sorting area. I was wondering if there was anyone I remembered from the movies and books. In the end, no one you know is ranked. When the order was finished, Principal Dippet stood up. After clearing his throat he started speaking.

"Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts. "I'm sure everyone is very hungry now, but I have to say some things before we start eating." After pausing for a moment and smiling slightly, he continued speaking.

"First of all, it is forbidden to enter the Forbidden forest located at the end of the school garden for any reason. Secondly, leaving the school grounds is prohibited under any circumstances, except when necessary and permitted. "I also have to inform you that biting boomerangs have been added to the list of prohibited items for use in school. You can find the full list in janitor Arnold's office." A few people chuckled here. I don't think anyone at Hogwarts looked at this list. Dippet ignored the giggles and continued talking. "Because of the war going on outside, every owl mail that arrives at the school must be examined. That's all for now. Now that everyone is hungry enough, relax." With the command, the food appeared on the tables and everyone started eating. Of course, too, but after a while, I felt strange. When I looked up from my plate, I saw the Gryffindor table silently and some of the younger classes looking at me with fear. "Neither am I a growing child"

I heard one of the upperclassmen muttering quietly. "I'll never get used to this view. "I swear this kid has a black hole in his stomach."

After the meal was over, manager Dippet stood up again. "Now that everyone has finished eating, let's sing the school song."

Unlike in the books, everyone sang in a certain rhythm, not in the rhythm they wanted. I think Dumbledore changed that when he became Headmaster.

"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, we came to you, Take us into your arms, Our minds are empty inside, Tell me, what's nice about this? Whether we have hair or no hair, let our heads be full of knowledge. Let's learn interesting things, let's improve step by step. We always work tirelessly, we get used to spells. "Don't let your hopes be broken. What may happen before the sun rises."

After the song ended, while the governors were trying to get the first graders to line up, I passed them and headed towards the stairs. After climbing the Gryffindor tower, I turned to the portrait.

"Password please?"

"The courage of a lion" After saying the password given to us by the governors at dinner, I entered the common room through the portrait hole. It looked bigger than in the books. But when you think about it, it made sense. Thanks to the traceless stretching curse, space was no problem for wizards, and magical Britain appeared larger and more populous than depicted in books and movies. Without waiting too long in the common room, I headed to my room in the men's dormitory. No one wanted to room with me because I was half-giant and Hagrid told everyone that in his first year. Apparently they were afraid I would kill them while they slept at night. The magical world and their bigoted tendencies!!! Hagrid was quite upset at the time. But I've never been a very social person, and it was more profitable to have my own personal room at Hogwarts. When I entered my room, which had not changed in the past two years, I saw that my trunk and belongings were already put in place. After taking off my robe and uniform and putting on my pajamas, I sat on my bed and began to meditate. Since I would have classes during the day, I decided to study occlumency before going to sleep at night.

After I finished my Occlumency study, I went to bed to sleep, but I couldn't get any sleep. Seeing Tom Riddle at the banquet today reminded me of some things I've been avoiding for a long time. Things like what am I going to do this year and a 1000 year old basilisk. I couldn't just go to the principal and tell him Tom was going to release the basilisk. It raised a lot of questions, like how did I know this? Questions that I cannot answer without revealing that I know my reincarnation and the future, and I don't know what will happen to me if I reveal them. It is quite possible to be torn to pieces in the circle of mysteries. Tom was the best student of the school, loved by all the professors except Dumbledore. I couldn't blame him without solid evidence. In this case, the only thing I could do was to pretend that I had discovered the things I knew myself, thanks to my knowledge that would come after a few people had been petrified. Also, no one would die by the end of the year. I don't think it's just luck. I think the basilisk was resisting Tom. So what are the chances of anyone petrified by chance seeing the eyes of a basilisk through a shiny surface? Also, the basilisk had not attacked any students for 1000 years until Tom arrived. He wasn't the first Gaunt to come to the school in the past. In fact, according to what I read at Hogwarts, the Gaunt family did the plumbing of the school. So they knew where the room was. It means they can easily break into the school and unleash the monster in the room before they go crazy due to extreme incest and fall from grace. All this leads us to the conclusion that the basilisk's purpose is not to kill all half-bloods and muggle-borns. We also know that high-level magical creatures were intelligent, most simply in the movies and books, Aragog could speak and communicate with people. Thus, it becomes clear that the basilisk is intelligent and resists Tom Riddle. While I was lost in thought, I fell asleep before I even realized what was happening.

31 August 1942

After the morning run, I quickly went up to Gryffindor tower. A few students were looking at me with surprise when they saw me coming from outside covered in sweat at this early hour of the morning. I ignored them and went into the bathroom to take a shower. After taking a shower and taking care of myself, I went down to the large hall for breakfast.

After again eating five times as much food as a normal person, and shocking everyone who ate breakfast with me, I saw Professor Kettleburn rise from the staff table and leave the great hall, presumably to go to his own room. After drinking another glass of pumpkin juice and dealing with Faye for a while, I decided to go to Professor Kettleburn's room to talk to him. Frankly, I didn't have much to do today. First, to talk to Professor Kettleburn about Faye and to search Radagian's room. Since searching Radagian's room could take a long time, I decided to talk to Professor Kettleburn first.

When I arrived at Professor Kettleburn's office, I checked my clothes, took a deep breath, and then knocked on the door.

"Come in"

I walked in after hearing Professor Kettleburn's voice. When he saw me, he started talking with a smile on his face.

"Oh Hagrid, I think what brought to my room the person who will be my favorite student this year."

In the past years, Hagrid constantly came to ask questions to Professor Kettleburn, even though he did not have classes due to his extreme love for magical creatures. This situation earned him the love of the professor. Oh I should stop referring to myself in the third person. I am Rubeus Hagrid now.

"Hello Professor. Sorry to disturb you. "I came here for Faye." While I was talking, I took Faye out of my breast pocket and placed it on the professor's desk.

Seeing the Bowtruckle, Professor Kettleburn quickly rose from his place behind his desk, and Faye approached him to examine it.

"A Bowtruckle their species generally lives in the wild and is reluctant to leave their trees."

"Yes, professor, I found it near my house. I brought him to school after getting permission from Professor Dumbledore because he wanted to come with me. But there are a few things about him that bother me. "I came to talk to you about this."

"Is there a problem? "He looked pretty healthy to me." While she was talking, Faye was poking or caressing different points and examining her reactions.

"Professor, it says in the books that bowtruckles feed on tree-dwelling insects and pests, but Faye eats almost anything. From owl snacks to chocolate and various snacks, he especially loves eating owl snacks and chocolate. "When I try to stop him, he gets really angry at me."

He took out his wand and started casting a few detection spells. After casting a few spells, he started speaking.

"Well, there doesn't seem to be any problem. Considering that bowtruckles generally live in the wild, bowtruckles probably don't get the opportunity to eat owl snacks and chocolate in their lifetime. "That's why we may not know these features of these little creatures."

"Thank you professor, it worries me a lot sometimes. Especially once, I think he had the closest thing a Bowtruckle gets to getting a stomach ache from overeating, and he doesn't seem to have behaved at all. If I let him, he would eat all the owl snacks in one day."

"Just a gluttonous little man. Just don't let him eat too much."

"Thank you again, professor. Then I'm going."

After Professor Kettleburn said I could leave, I left the room with Faye. After leaving the room, I randomly started walking around Hogwarts, while carrying the bag in my pocket. I was keeping Radagian's diary. I'm hoping you'll give me a sign. After wandering around for almost an hour without any signs, I finally reached the seventh floor. As soon as I went up to the seventh floor, a feeling emanated from the diary that drove my voxnaturae senses crazy. Now I know what to do. I knew that there was a room of need as if I was running quickly. I walked over to the picture of Barnabas the Barmy teaching the trolls how to dance. The diary got crazier as I got closer to the picture. I passed by the picture three times. Unfortunately nothing happened so I continued wandering around the seventh floor looking for another clue. But I couldn't find anything useful. Finally, in a desperate attempt, I tried one last time, this time I kept thinking that I wanted to get into Radagian's room. By Merlin, it worked this time. On my third pass, there was finally a door in the place of the painting. I walked in with great relief. What was waiting for me was a huge portrait hanging on the wall in a plain-looking room.

As I entered and approached the portrait, the sleeping man in the portrait slowly opened his eyes as I heard the sound of the door closing behind me. When I least expected it, he suddenly started talking by shouting. His voice was so loud that it echoed in the room and made me want to cover my ears.

"Finally someone came to this godforsaken place. I've been stuck in this damn portrait for exactly 500 years….."

After the portrait shouted for a while longer, it finally calmed down. After taking a deep breath, he started speaking again.

"I am the grand druid Radagian. Could you introduce yourself, young man?

"Rubeus Hagrid, 3rd year student at Hogwarts."

"Well, since you read the diary, you know what this place is."

"Yes I know. But I can't lie. I was expecting a library rather than an empty room. You know, the legacy of the druids, their knowledge of magic."

"Oh, we have what you want here and even more, but it is not that easy to get it."

"What do you want to say. "Am I going to have an exam or something?"

I couldn't help but get a little excited. I had mastered all the druid spells in the past month. I quite liked some of them. In particular, the warstaff spell, which imbued my small staff with the power of nature and turned it into a bo staff, allowed me to create a melee weapon without losing any of my staff's spell-casting ability. Another spell was thunderclap, which dealt thunder damage to the area around me and paralyzed those I targeted as if struck by lightning, but my favorite was without exception the primal brutality. The spell was affecting me a little differently than what the book said. Normally, it should have strengthened my physical body and given me poisonous nails. As for me, I think that due to my being a half-giant, it increased my physical strength and magic resistance while also awakening a primitive instinct hungry for war within me.

Radagian smiled and began speaking.

"Ah! It's not really an exam. To become more of a druid, you need to take a magical oath."

"You talk as if druidism is different from ordinary magicians. I know there are some differences of belief, but all the information I've found about druids is that you're basically magicians with different beliefs."

I wasn't lying about this. I did research before coming to the room. Historical information about the Druids was quite limited, mentioning some differences in belief. He often portrayed them as climate activists living in the wilderness, refusing to meddle with civilization. Although different spells were mentioned by today's magicians, this information was quite contradictory. If becoming a druid required me to give up other forms of magic and live as a savage far from civilization, I would reject the offer.

Radagian thought for a moment about how to explain it, then began to speak.

"For an ordinary magician, there are 4 important factors that affect his power. Body, soul-mind, magical energy and finally magic knowledge. Deficiency of any of these will negatively affect the other three. "Are there any problems so far?"

"I know the importance of magic and magical energy, but I didn't know the importance of the other two. Nowadays, many magicians do not pay much attention to their bodies. Almost no one does sports. When it comes to the mind, I have heard of a field of magic called occlumency and I am trying to train it, but most magicians do not train themselves in this field at all."

Now I was a little excited, here I had the chance to confirm some of my predictions.

Radagian suddenly became very angry and started shouting.

"Are you serious, what are they teaching children these days? Look, in magic there is something we call the holy trinity. body, soul-mind and magical energy these are very important for a magician. If one is weaker than the others, it pulls the other two down. For example, even if a wizard does not do any training or body-strengthening rituals, his body is stronger than that of muggles. Likewise, it is more difficult for magicians to cast spells that affect the mind, and yes, meditation and occlumency are the best ways to strengthen the mind. Is there a problem now?

I was glad that some of my hypotheses were correct. This meant that I was already one step ahead of the others in terms of physical strength due to my half-giant nature.

"I think I understand. So what exactly changes in a druid?

"Apart from these four, there is a fifth factor among druids, and this is voxnaturae. The power of Voxnaturae is vital to a druid."

At this point I got a little too excited and interrupted him.

"Wait, voxnaturae also have different abilities? "As far as I've discovered, it just allows me to feel the emotions of animals and plants, and especially allows me to communicate with more intelligent animals."

Radagian didn't say it out loud, but his facial expression was clear enough, after he thought for a while about what to do with an ignorant boor like me, and continued talking.

"Voxnaturae is more than communicating with animals and plants. We druids strengthen our spells and in some cases evencompletely druidWe draw energy from nature to cast spells. Voxnaturae is our connection to nature. The stronger this connection, the more energy we can draw and the more powerful spells we can cast. The spells you found in the journal were the weakest of the druid spells. You almost didn't even have to use voxnaturae on purpose. For stronger druid spells, you must actively manipulate this bond and draw energy. Of course, the energy you can draw increases in direct proportion to the strength of the bond."

Now I couldn't help but get a little excited. This man was telling me that I could strengthen my spells using voxnaturae. But when I thought about it a little more, I realized there was more to it than that. A completely different discipline of magic was being talked about here than I had ever heard of before. At the same time, this discipline of magic was deeply connected to voxnaturae. I continued talking to ask the questions that came to my mind.

"From what I understand, druid magic is a different discipline from normal magic and is highly dependent on voxnaturae. Does this mean that the level of my voxnaturae determines my entire future? What I mean is, could voxnaturae become a restriction in the future?"

Even though I'm interested in druidic magic, I don't want to completely restrict myself in that way. Also, if there is no way to strengthen voxnaturae and I swear to become a druid, it could partially ruin my future.

Radagian immediately began speaking.

"Both yes and no. First, the level of voxnaturae is not constant. It may strengthen or weaken over time. Although it limits access to some types of magic, it does not prevent you from using other types of magic. So there is no problem in areas such as alchemy, spells, transfiguration. "It's less about the type of magic and more about what you do with it." After pausing for a moment and thinking, he continued speaking.

"For example, alchemy etc. It's okay to breed new magical creatures using methods. But if you go and create abominations like soul suckers or chimeras, you can lose voxnaturae directly, or you can extend your life with various potions, but if you go and turn yourself into a lich, you will lose voxnaturae. In general, if you practice the more evil and inferior aspects of the dark arts that go against nature, you will either lose voxnaturae or weaken it. Conversely, if you save a species from extinction, it strengthens the voxnaturae, or if you prevent an invasive species from destroying its environment, the voxnaturae becomes stronger again. The point is to protect nature and comply with its laws."

"I think I understand, but I have a few questions."

He looked like he was tired of explaining to me, but he waved his hand to signal that I could ask anyway.

"Like, how do I know if something will strengthen or weaken voxnaturae?"

"Usually you will receive a warning before you perform the action, rest assured you will not miss this warning."

"What are the limitations when creating new magical species in general?" I also started reading a book about chimaric alchemy that I bought from Diagon Alley last month. It was definitely an area I wanted to specialize in the future. Damn Hagrid in me, the love for these bigger and more dangerous magical creatures definitely comes from him.

"With the hybridization method, alchemy and rituals performed before the creature in question is born or while it is in the egg will not be a problem. But abominations like chimeras and dementors, which are created by forcibly fusing one or more living things, can damage your connection with nature and even destroy it completely."

I understand that there was no problem with this. There were even warnings about this in the book. In general, these creatures were always in pain, unstable, and extremely aggressive.

This left only two questions left.

Firstly, "I am a half-giant, to be exact. Some of the spells in the diary affected me differently than what was written in it. Will this be a problem in the future?"

"Spells that affect the physical body, such as primitive brutality, may affect you a little differently, but in the long run it won't be a problem. "It may even be useful in the future, as giants have a better relationship with the nature around them than humans."

This was a development that relieved me. Now there was one last question; It is both very important and very ridiculous. I started speaking in as sweet a voice as I could.

"Since a druid has not been born in a very long time, there are a few questions about you. I read in some books that druids isolated themselves from civilization and human life and preferred to live in the forest with animals. Is it real?"

Even though the question sounds ridiculous, I couldn't isolate myself from people for my future plans.

Radagian looked very angry at this question.

"Who makes up such nonsense? I don't know, but if I get my hands on that man, I'll tear him to pieces. No, there is no need for such a thing. In ancient times, we druids were priests, healers, mentors, and in some cases leaders, guiding people along the path of nature. Some of my kind did as you said. But this was more a personal preference than a requirement of being a druid. I think the reason for this rumor is that we avoid getting close to big cities. The reason is obvious. Do you know what a smell it creates when thousands of people who never wash more than 1-2 times a year live in the same place without a functional way to carry their various wastes out of the city?

After taking a few deep breaths to calm down, he continued speaking.

"I was a grand druid in my lifetime. To put it in a way you can understand, I was the equivalent of an archmage. Kings and nobles were lining up to welcome me to their palaces and ask for advice. So no, you don't need to separate yourself from civilization and live like a savage. Is the explanation enough?

"So when will I swear?"

My question seemed to have pleased and pleased him greatly.

"Take out your wand and place it over your heart, then repeat what I say."

After hastily doing what he said, he continued speaking.

"I, Rubeus Hagrid, swear on my magic and my life that I will continue as a druid in my next life, and that if nature's blessing abandons me in the future, I will return the treasures and knowledge I received from the Radagian and not speak of these treasures and knowledge to anyone else."

As soon as Radagian finished his sentence, I swore as he said. As soon as I finished the sentence I felt the change. Voxnaturae was not only stronger than before. I felt the oath binding my magic and me.

After finishing my sentence, Radagianda started speaking with a big grin.

"Now we come to the fun part. If you want to take my treasures, approach me and remove the portrait from its place on the wall." I proceeded to do as he said. After removing the portrait from its place on the wall, what awaited me was a silver sphere about the size of a football, waiting in a secret compartment behind the portrait. At Radagian's signal, I reached out to grab the orb.

As soon as I touched the sphere, I felt a strange pulling sensation under my navel and found myself in a completely different place. On one side of me, there was a building that was a combination of a mansion and a castle (castel savoia) on a hill. There was a large lake on the other side of me. Other than that, everywhere I could see, there was a wild land with no trace of human habitation. But something was very wrong here, and as soon as I thought about it this way, I realized what it was. There was no living creature here. There weren't even any plants, just rocks and soil as far as the eye could see.

With surprise and some fear, I started talking to the portrait I was holding in my hand.

"Where am I? Where is this place?"

Radagian must have found my fear amusing because he started talking with a small smile.

"Don't be afraid, son, you can return to Hogwarts whenever you want. Besides, as you can see, there is nothing here that could harm you."

After I calmed down a bit, he continued talking.

"This is a pocket dimension, the greatest treasure I left you."

"Pocket size? What is it? Is there a house or even a forest inside like those bags created using spatial magic?that they can keep I heard."

Now I was a little excited, I've wanted something like this since I was reborn.

"Kid, this place is more than just items enchanted with the traceless extension spell. Rest assured, if word got out that you had a portable pocket dimension, powerful mages would come from all over to hunt you down."

"So what's the difference?"

" Pocket dimensions are extremely rare phenomena that occur randomly in nature. They can be as large as countries. The forbidden forest next to Hogwarts is one such place. The part visible from the outside is not even a tenth of the forbidden forest. "If you can find such a pocket size during the process of formation, you can stick it to one object like I did." He continued talking without me answering. "With ordinary spatial items, no matter how large, the number of plants and animals you can grow is limited, even with a greenhouse tree. But there is no such limitation on pocket sizes. Although they are not fully suitable for most human lives, they can give birth to incredible magical resources due to the extreme concentration of magical energy within them. Do you now understand the importance of having such personal space? "It's like having your own country from which you can extract almost unlimited amounts of resources."

I stopped dead in my tracks for a moment to realize the extent of what was being said to me. My brain short-circuited. Then I sighed in disappointment when I saw that there were no living beings around me.

"If pocket dimensions can produce life as if they were no different from the normal world, then why isn't there even a single blade of grass here?"

I could have sworn Radagian blushed in embarrassment for a moment. Then he immediately returned to his old self.

"Well, that might be my fault. When I found this dimension and merged it with the sphere, it was not yet fully formed. Later, since I cut off its connection with the outside world, it never had the chance to produce life in it, but don't worry, we can make this place full of life in a short time with the help of a greenhouse tree."

"I thought there was no need for greenhouse trees."

"It's not necessary, but it would be incredibly slow. Greenhouse tree makes things much easier."

When Radagian said that, I remembered the little sapling I left at home. I hope nothing happens to it. Radagian continued talking while I thought about the sapling.

"Now, if you are done with your questions, drop some blood on that sphere so that it recognizes you as its owner, otherwise anyone who touches the sphere can enter here. "You can think of the sphere as the gate and control center of this place."

After attaching the sphere to me, I realized that I could change the shape and size of the sphere. So I turned it into a simple ring that would not attract attention. Afterwards, with Radagian's suggestion, I proceeded to the mansion next door. After wandering around the mansion for a while, he left Radagian in the mansion as per his wish. I returned to Hogwarts, went to my room, and started silently thinking about what happened today. What a day it was.
