"What do you mean?" Parker asked, looking confused as neither he nor the others expected her words.
"That night, I left the ceremony floor to get some fresh air. I saw the clown sneaking in and secretly followed him to the room. I wanted to inform security, but the clown noticed me and attacked me," Anastasia narrated, sounding genuine while showing off the bruise on her neck. The clients gasped.
"This is the clue he tried to strangle me," Anastasia said.
"How did you escape?"
Anastasia exchanged gazes with Zane. "It was a miracle I escaped. I passed out under his choke and woke up after few minutes, locked in a store. I couldn't reach Mr. Morris beforehand to tell him what happened; things had already gone wrong," Anastasia said, and the clients murmured among themselves. "Please pardon Mr. Morris. It wasn't his fault and accept his request."
