Chapter 44 - His rival

Vincenzo retreated the gun in his pocket, and moved to the table as he picked up the briefcase and strode out of the room, leaving the carnage behind.

As he exited the casino, he lit a lighter and tossed it behind him, igniting the gasoline he had spread around the building.

When he approached his motorbike, he mounted it and sped into the night, while the casino erupted into a blazing inferno, consuming everything in its path.

While he weaved through the traffic lights with agility, the wind whipped his body, his thoughts consumed by Anastasia.

"I don't mind the consequences as long as you're mine,"

"We can be friends with benefits," these words lingered in Vincenzo's head.

He couldn't shake the image of her from his mind - those curves, that captivating smile, and the kiss they shared in his office.
