"Is Anna alright? Did Valentino harm her in any way?" Augustus asked, his voice lacing with concern and fear that Valentino wanted to defile Anna in a malicious way.
Emery observed Augustus looked anxious about it since she already informed him about their plans tonight.
"Calm down buddy. Tasia is fine and trying to sleep in the room. Valentino is drugged." Emery replied, sounding reassured.
Hearing his sister, Augustus felt a wave of relief wash over him that Anna was fine. He's going to teach every man who dares play dirty games with her.
Emery knew her brother wasn't supposed to be lurking around them, worried Zane's men might identify him.
"You can't be here, Zane's men are everywhere."
"I saw them. I've been away in three days and I wonder how Anna is coping alone at night without me."
