Jane sat at the bar counter, sipping her drink. The bar was notorious in the city for being deserted during the day and only getting busy at night. It was a peaceful place, perfect for clearing her head after the day she'd had.
"Ever since you came here, you haven't given me a report," Gabriel, a young man, said impatiently as he sat beside Jane.
"I have nothing to say except my world is about to crash again," Jane replied, gulping down a shot for the eighth time, reminiscing about how she once effortlessly made Zane hers.
Unable to shake off Zane's aloofness towards her, Anastasia's sudden appearance only added to the turmoil in Jane's life.
"What do you mean?" Gabriel asked, looking confused.
"It's about Anastasia. She looks like Selina," Jane muttered, her eyes flashing with fear and uncertainty.
"Why are you bothered about it?"
