Chapter 33
The safe house was alive with relief and tension; while the capture of the head of Hale's new leader was a big win, by Elara's thinking, they couldn't afford to rest. The enemy was still out there, the threat still very real.
Elara rounded up her team in the command center. "We've dealt a big blow to Hale's network, but we can't let our guard down. We need to figure out what other plans they have cooking and shut them down before they can regroup."
Blake planted his hip on the table and furrowed his brow. "Interrogating their new leader might give us some insights. We need to know what they're planning next.
Lena nodded. "I mean, I started working on the data that we pulled from the headquarters, and in one way or another, maybe through the use of encrypted files, I surmise I could know their next move."
