CHAPTER 34
The days after their successful mission against Hale's network were packed. Elara's crew had been running on overload, boosting defenses while scouting for further details on the foes. Their success had brought with it much-needed morale, but the mood was dampened by a great degree as the threat of Hale's network regrouping loomed over them.
One evening, when the sun had started to slide below the horizon and the safe house was bathed in the soft glow of dusk, came an unexpected message. The encryption was one a seasoned operative would use. She decrypted it fast, out of curiosity.
To Elara and Team,
I have valuable information on Hale's network. Meet me at the old clock tower at midnight. Come alone.

Elara felt a sense of unease, but she couldn't let such a promising piece of information slip by. She would tell her team.
Blake's brows furrowed as he read the message. "It's a setup."
